    Thanks! Those pics are from the documentary and I don't have the eps myself. Much obliged!

    James Doohan passed away at 85

    Yeah, another childhood hero passes (I always loved Scotty). But at least he had a good innings.

    What's on the Tube tonight?

    Oh we have really interesting (but also slightly bias) documentary about elderly abuse in nursing homes and hospitals. I used to work in nursing homes and I think this doc. set out with the intention of damning them all. The stories they are featuring are pretty bad though.

    A-ha-ha. That's fairly amusing.

    Strange Moments In Your Life

    Ah, forgive my lack of knowledge but what exactly is 'broiled'? I have only ever heard it in American programmes/films. (You'll find I might ask a lot of these cross-Atlantic translation questions but hey, that's how I found out a rutabaga is a swede and molasses is like treacle, knowledge that...

    I so do not fit in... ^^;

    'S'true y'know folks. If we all buckle down and accept not everyone has the same take on things then it can actually breed really interesting discussions and ideas. Opposite theories can merge to create new things neither party would think of and it can be fun debating over things as long as...

    My thoughts are with you and my fingers firmly crossed.

    Picture Request - Tosh Fraggle

    Well here's one link If you scout around that album a bit it's full of screenshots and stuff, I think that's all there is of Tosh and her Beast at the mo' but there's plenty of other things too.

    Sensitive topic.

    The only thing about dying that I'm afraid of is if I leave my kids when they are still young (obviously I don't want to leave them at all but it's the natural order, would be much worse if they went first - now there is a big fear of mine.) Rollercoasters I can deal with, I like 'em but they...

    Strange Moments In Your Life

    I used to share a flat with my best friend, it was on two floors and the living room had a little kitchenette attached and there was definitely something strange going on. Almost every night all the appliances apart from the fridge would be turned off. We always used to check them before we went...

    What are your stories?

    OK, um. I'm Kate, 1/4 century old. I have vague recollections of The Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock from when I was little and I pretty much remember Sesame Street quite well, my love of Oscar managed to counter my deep fear of Big Bird. I sort of grew up as many people do and as the shows...

    I so do not fit in... ^^;

    Actually I know one person who detests the Muppets, but she's also the kind of person who buys big purple dinosaur DVDs for her sprog so it's no great loss there. EL: I always love to read your posts here and over at FR.com. I always feel a bit out of place here because I'm only just getting...

    What's on the Tube tonight?

    Probably nothing tonight but last night I watched the double bill CSI directed by Quentin Tarantino. It was delayed a week because of what happened in London. I generally don't watch much TV, it's really not that good over here and I'm not forking out for Sky, it's just not worth it for me.

    What music are you listening to?

    Stone Roses - She Bangs Drums. Eh, it takes me back!

    How's the weather where you are?

    Tastes a bit like Bovril - don't put too much on, a little goes a long way. It is lovely though...Hmm might go and have some now.... Oh and weather - Sunny and cool, pleasant breezes keeping everything nice and fresh. *sings* Oh I do like to be beside the seaside...

    Picture Request - Tosh Fraggle

    If you want some more then let me know. That's the only ep. I have with her in but I'm sure I could grab a couple more shots.

    How's the weather where you are?

    Grats on the stickiness! And today has been sort of overcast, threats of rain and a cool wind but generally warm. Breakfast - Marmite on toast (I'm a lover, not a hater) Lunch - Crisps, apple, cold sausages Dinner - The Great Freezer Clear Out

    Least Favorite Muppets?

    Oh I just have one word for you all. ELMO! I have a three year old who is absolutely crazy about any hand puppets he sees on the tv (ever since I introduced him to Fraggle Rock) we happened upon Elmo's World one day and he got up and turned the tv off. Oh yeah my kid has taste.

    Any other places to buy used stuff besides ebay?

    I get quite a bit of stuff from ebay. Living in the UK it can be hard to get my hands on some things so ebay is really handy for me. Plus,when I buy from the US sellers I get to take advantage of how cheap everything is compared to here, I'm slightly ashamed to admit it but what can you do...
