Regarding Clifford as host, my guess is it just seemed to make sense: Rizzo was Steve's main character, Gonzo Dave's, Floyd Jerry's, Bill was new, Frank was part time, and Brian had no signature character. So no one had a main character who was really "host" material. And since Kevin was around...
Maybe I should revise my first post. I don't know if the Kermit's birthplace display is gone, but I know that the Dr. Teeth and Swedish Chef puppets were taken back by the JHC at some point and replaced by Kermit. Thats what I meant. Sorry!
Question for those that know:
I'm aware that Smithsonian has a Kermit (I saw it in 1989) and they also had a travelling Oscar/Big Bird because that was SS's 20th anniversary year. I also got to see the taxi from MTM (or GMC I can't rmemeber now) when I last visited Disney World MGM Studios in...

Floyd
Clifford...

My brain is a little fried-I've been painting a muppet mural in my basement for the last coupla hours and needed a break.
This thread made me realize something...McDonald's Happy Meals have a license with everything Disney does it seems. Let's see....and who owns the Muppets now? Does this thought get anyone else excited? It's been so long since there was any Muppet related Happy Meals-Wendy's did Muppets in Space...
A friend of mine, who may just be a bigger fan of the Muppets than I am, and I have a tradition. We are involved in a lot of local theatre productions, and every time we do a show together, we try to cast a "Muppet" version. So far we've done "Grease" "Ragtime"(which turned out hysterical!)"The...
