I just got it from Amazon yesterday and I've already finished. Loved it. so many good stories. Caroll really gets into his love for China. And I always wondered what happened to Bruno. Now I know. Worth owning, I'd say.
I also really liked your Urinetown sign. Well done.
Yeah! Thanks. I was set designer/actor in a recent production of the show. The sign hung in the theatre lobby. We also "tee-peed" the entire lobby. that was fun...
Hello everyone!
I originally posted this in the fan art section, but since its relevant to classic muppets, I thought I'd repost it here as well (since this one seems to get more traffic)

Here you will see all...
YES. I just watched the show-for some reason, they advertise the premiere at 8 (CST) but they play it at 10 am the same day. I can now confirm that Pepe was on, it was fairly brief and on the whole, quite disappointing. Bill didn't really seem "on" and he was given very little to work with from...
As I mentioned in another MT thread, Dr. Phil's "Christmas Party '93" (I think its in the Prince episode) is the best MT moment.
And not to brag, but my friend is a downloading fiend....I have EVERY episode of MT (okay, so I am bragging...)
I was watching Trading Places last nite....as many probably already know, both Frank and Richard Hunt have small roles in that film. And considering he worked on the muppet Movie, had a good relationship with the "old guard" and is an A-list director, wouldn't John Landis be the perfect director...
If anyone caught this weeks episode of VH1's Surreal life, the housemates are all putting on their own mock talk shows. Alexis Arquette (the transgendered one) said he/she had booked Bill/Pepe as a guest. Their shows will be featured on next weeks episode, but the promo shows no signs of Pepe...
I do like the Blues Bros. "reunion" type movie. Could start out with Fozzie and Kermit riding along picking up all the other muppets, just like Muppet Movie. You could add some newer ones too (Pepe and Clifford?), just not Bobo Andy Randy or Gary Cahuenga. and be sure to include Scooter, rowlf...
Cool thread. I'll post as the ideas come to me. Whatever they do, it should be a "musical". Since the "older" Muppet movies (ie. TMM, TGMC and TMTM)spoofed older genres, how about something that spoofs current big genres...I'm thinking an "all star" Irwin Allen disaster (Poseidon...
He has his own episode devoted to him later in the run. He's also ion the background on the Whoopi Goldberg episode. There may be more but thats all I know offhand
not really a huge Phil fan....its the same thing I have against bobo b/c of fozzie-why is he necessary when we already have a similar Muppet (bunsen/beaker)? Is his blatant similarities to Andy Dick obvious to everyone else or just me? And his arms bother me- its too obvious that they're coming...
Cahuenga's that ventiloquist dummy (voiced by I believe Dave Goelz) that they discover in that one episode of MT. Actually, he randomly appreared earlier in the season in several episodes and then was "discovered" towards the end of the series (since they weren't aired in the order they were...
2nite...
Overall, I enjoyed the episode (I only caught the first half) Thought the one little girl was a bit precocious, but thats beside the point. Way to go Kermit. And fire those cameramen who let your armsleeve show.
Before this thread goes in the wrong direction, i just want to say that I mean it to show no disrespect to anybody, its just a subject I knew next to nothing about and thought it merited some discussion. Yes, lets please keep it repsectful. We're all friends:)
Ever since I realized Eric Jacobson has taken over Fozzie, Piggy, etc. (and I'm ashamed to admit how long it took me to discover this) it has had me wondering:
Why? Why did Frank Oz leave the Muppets? Perhaps a more knowledgable member here might know, but let's face it: Everything Frank has...
PS to my previous post (forgot to add this): During "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson" wasn't it weird to see Clifford randomly in the Muppet Theatre as if he had always been there?
