without a doubt, this is Rowlf's best moment of ALL TIME and I WILL fight anyone who disagrees.
In case those unaware didn't know, its on the season two Don Knotts episode, which I happen to have still taped froma Nick Jr. broadcast from about ten years ago until Season two comes out this fall!
Gobo....although Fraggles aren't my absolute favorite production, Gobo is probably the muppet I most resemble:) And I keep a little McDonalds Happy meal Gobo perched on top of my computer monitor as a similar reference.
I must say that Bill is definitely one of the funniest parts of muppets Tonight. He had some of the most memorable quotes from the show.
However, I DESPISE the way he looks. A quirky one-joke pop-up charcater in the tradition of Crazy Harry or Lew Zealand wasted on a hideous design. He looks...
What an oddity! I loved how Bean was proportionally the same size as Fozzie. some of those lines sounded like they were in Scooter's voice but there was no Scooter in the show too;)
wouldn't you love to know where those costumes are today?
:attitude: Here's something I've wondered for years.
As we all know, Bald Eagles are brown and white. While I agree that blue is a far more interesting color, what made them decide when designing him that Sam the Eagle should be blue? Does anyone know?
It'd require some major voice re-casting-obviously Teeth and Janice but I don't think Floyd has spoken since Jerry retired. I don't know if they've been re-cast already but it doesn't seem like much offically has.
Who do you think would be the best casting choices? Here's mine:
Zoot- still...
Hey!
does anyone know if Henson plans to release Muppet Musicians of Bremen on DVD? I can't find it anywhere on Amazon.
Also, will disney re-release Frog Prince and Hey Cinderella! anytime soon? I assume they own them since Kermit has a big role in both....but since Henson owns Emmett Otter I...
As I've said before, i dig Clifford, just not necessarily the ways he is used. I think he's like Scooter in that although its been said he's a human, his "species" is sort of hard to pin down. and his appearance on "Muppets Celebrate Jim henson" was strange: him in the Muppet Show theatre? I was...
Good thread. Bring back Digit!
Here's a thought: Is he owned by Disney? He's not exactly a "Classic Muppet". Didn't know if he was thrown into the deal too or if they hung onto him.
I don't remember his appearance in MWoO and I still haven't seen AVMMC, so i was unaware he was in that. But he was very prominent at one point-MV3D as Vic pointed out and he was even on Muppet Babies!
With his love him or hate him rep and his later entry to the family, he sort of seems like a...

This "Where is Phil?" thread got me thinking: Has Bean Bunny been retired? He was really hot there in the late 80's/early 90's and has been AWOL for quite some time.
I know Steve is VERY busy with Kermit and Rizzo....is this why Bean has fallen by the wayside? He has a distinctly "Steve...
YEESSSS!!!! Christmas Party '93! My favorite MT moment that I've been going on about for ages on here! (Well, not ages....I've only been a member for a couple months!) However, it does come close to crossing that invisible Muppets Line of Decency.....
no one has brought up Dabney Coleman in MTM. He played that shady producer (name escapes me) that was going to "produce" Manhattan Melodies if the gang gave him money. Then he got attacked by Animal and arrested. He's probably the closest thing to a villain in MTM.
but my favorite: "Tant...
