Hello! I'm making a puppet at the moment, and I would like to know what you all use for the material for the inside of the mouth. On several of our puppets we have used play foam and It looks nice, but it is really thick and makes the mouth hard to close. Anyways, what are you guys...
Coolies. I would look into getting one, but our group already has all of those :) If i might make a suggestion, the Mr.Quimper puppet is very versitale. We've used it to do anything from Daniel in the Lions Den to a Paul Schafer look-a-like!
Also, these puppets are very durable and will last...
I've never sold any puppets on Ebay but when we started making puppets, that was our original plan. I have bought one puppet on ebay from Puppetsnstuff puppets, and it was an excellent deal. I believe I paid around 50 for it.
Well, im not going to try to make a replica of Pepe. I just really wanna make a puppet that uses a mechanism like his. I think I might make a duck. I don't know yet.
I think i've cracked the diagram. I bought most of the stuff today from Lowes that I needed. I've started assembling it. I found an interesting little thing I'm using to put my finger through to pull the string down. The bag lists it as a "Plastic Clamp" But it has just enough space to put your...
Well, here's my other diagram. I feel like this one would work. The only thing this one would do would be to move the mouth. I guess I could figure out how to move the head later. Do you think this would work?

Hello! I just dug this out of my massive collection of VHS-C tapes. It's a video of me and my brother messing around with a puppet :) . It's a human-arm puppet from Puppet Productions. Anyways, this was recorded a little over a year ago. I'm doing the puppet, and my brother is, well, he's the...
After much work, I've devised a diagram for Pepe. I sort of based it off of one of Nick Barone's, but I added some stuff to it. Here it is. Check it out and see if you think it would work. I wish there was another way i could do the lever for the mouth.
I've been pondering this for quite some time now. I'm still wondering how pepe's mouth works. Most diagrams I've seen of a puppet like this show a string attached to the end of the bottom jaw, running to a lever that you push down. The string coming from the bottom of the jaw sticks out. I don't...
Hello,
Just wondering how you all attach your hair to your puppets. The method we use doesn't seem to work :o (we made a part in the hair and sew it directly to the fleece). If anyone has any suggestions, It would help us a lot.

(Oh, and by 'we' I mean, my father and I)
yep. www.puppetproductions.com
right now they're having a big overstock sale. A bunch of their puppets are 50% off. check them out. If you're on a budget look at the 'Pupplets' or 'Crayonets'. I believe the most expensive puppet they have is a big bear that is normally $215.
Hello!
Just thought I'd post some pictures of the puppets my father and I have made. We've made 5 so far, and the 4th one we made as a present and I forgot to take a picture of it.
We have a company called "Puppets by Gepettoe". Look at our puppets, and if you like our style, and want a...
