Wow, what an unexpected surprise! This is great news, I feel like a new chapter in the lives of the Muppets is about to begin. It's time to get things started!!
PS - does this mean an Electric Mayhem reunion tour is in the works??
They did have a scene with the Electric Mayhem in IAVMMCM, but it was axed because of the whole Snoop Dogg thing. It's also difficult to include the Mayhem in some of the newer productions because of the fact that most of the characters have not had main puppeteers over the last ten years (with...
I wasn't able to loan out the digital camera from school so I couldn't get the pics. I took some with my regular camera bought I'll have to wait until the film is developed. If anyone can get some pics before that that would be great!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's on the Madeline Kahn episode as the UK skit. That's one of the DVDs you can get from TimeLife. It was also on the Muppet Show 2 cast album that was only released on vinyl. Check eBay for that. I'm not sure if the song was every released on any of the CD compilations.
I stopped by the local Starbucks I work at today, and one of the employees I work with had just uncovered a couple boxes of Muppet finger puppets that come with those candy cane like things that they sell at Starbucks. These had just come in today, which is ironic since two weeks ago I began...
Hmmm, well, I've always backed up my posts with fact. You'll notice how I always question rather than make concrete claims. I've made speculations based on history and the comparison of events, and questioned the similiarity between those events. If you stop questioning then you let someone else...
Interesting link you posted. Scares me, but not altogether impossible to imagine. Seems like a kind of "New Fascism" tailored for the 21st century. Actually, the idea doesn't seem entirely improbable when you think about it. Propoganda, lots of flags, manipulation of the media, public disaproval...
I don't understand this comparing Saddam to the Nazis or Nazism. Go read the history books instead of what you learn from movies. That is, go read history books that are NOT published in the USA (yes, the war did start before 1941). Hitler created a fascist regime that reguvinated the German...

I agree, I didn't like MTI all that much, and watching it today hasn't really changed my opinion. Some of it was good, I really liked Sam and Dead Tom, but it was pretty weak overall. The music was just horrible....But, since there are some excellent designs of these characters that were used in...
Not too many of the people you spoke to liked Canada too much huh? Yeah, I guess 'cause we're too clean and we still have trees. But seriously, I'd like to clear up the kind of near-sighted views that some of these people had about Canada's position on this whole thing because it upsets me a...
France, for example, has never won a war (except the French Revolution when they battled themselves)!
Ummmm, not to be overly picky here, but France was a pretty big military/imperial power for hundreds of years, and that didn't happen by losing wars all the time. In the early nineteenth...
I'm not exactly against military action, but I'm not exactly for it either. For myself it's more a questioning of the reasons behind it and the consequences of any kind of action taken, not just from Iraq. I think Saddam's proposal to debate with Bush would have been a great opportunity to...
