As much as I'm for the evolution of the show, and I understand the need for the structure for the younger viewers, where are they going to put the more "off the wall" stuff? Like those Star Trek spoofs - classic! And I love those "80's" songs/skits that I've been seeing on 1-2-3 Sesame...

I think there's still a lot of "grown-up" jokes this season. I watch both the current season and the re-runs on Noggin every day, (ends up being 3 - 5 SS eps a day, too much even for me sometimes - but the kid never tires of it!) and see just as many good jokes. Robert DeNiro guest spot for...

Hey, I just taped this episode today! Ep. 3984 - The Mail-it shop opens, replacing the Fix-It shop. No more toaster jokes!

I loved that one too, and remember it from 30 years ago as well. I think I saw it on the current episode for the number of the day, not just in the old Noggin reruns!

I LOVED that skit! I haven't seen it since I originally watched SS 30 years ago or so. Has it ever resurfaced recently? Just started rewatching since have an 18 month old now! I don't know what's stranger -- the fact that they show the retro clips or the fact that I REMEMBER them!
