Thanks! Yeah, I agree... leave out GIna and BigBird and add another sketch. :) Thats why I liked "Put Down the Duckie"... they got the filler out of the way and in the beginning and then the rest was older stuff. :)
What the **** would depression have to do with going crazy and streaking with a superman T-Shirt?!??! A truly depressed person would NOT have the energy or motivation to do that. Geez... I dont know where some of these rumors get started, but they are not by people who know anything about...
Yeah, for me, Sesame Street is one of my normal quirks, so my mom doesnt care. Actually, she loves Ernie and Bert, so it doesnt phase her. I think secretly she LIKES my SS dvds ;) I also like Fisher Price Little People and Barbie too, (IM A COLLECTOR!) so...yeah :)
"Grover Sleeps Over"
"Cookie Monster and the Cookie Tree"
"I Wanna Go Home" (starring Big Bird)
Also the one where Oscar keeps telling everyone to go away. :)
"me and my llama" was one of my favorites, because my mom is peruvian and i grew up surrounded my llama paraphalia. LLAMAS ROCK!
"me and my llama..me and my llama... goin to the dentist today"
My Ten:
1) Dance Myself to Sleep
2) Do De Rubber Duck
3) Doin' The Pigeon
4) Put Down the Duckie
5) King of Eights
6) New Way to Walk
7) The Word is "NO"
8) Imagine That!
9) I don't want to Live on the Moon
10) C is for Cookie
(I love ernie and bert!!!)
"Put Down the Duckie" ROCKS! All the sketches on it are great. If I could only have two sesame dvds, it would be that one and "Learn About Numbers". I also highly recommend "Best of Ernie and Bert" if you're a E&B fan. :)
Lauren :( :p
Hi... I'm new here (some of you may have seen my posts). But as a brief intro I'm Lauren, I'm 22 and I love classic Sesame Street. Early 80s especially. Anyway, I need some help finding DVDs to buy. I've seen some of them, and I love "Learning about Numbers, Put Down the Duckie and The Best of...
I am an avid FP Little People collector, and so if you have any questions ask me. But yeah, it was weird that the only human ss characters they made were Gordon, Susan and Mr Hooper.
Yeah, I have that one on tape. I guess what I'd really like is to just be able to sit and watch a few old shows from the 80's straight through. See all the OLD characters, sets, and sketches. Doesnt' really matter which, although the ones I listed were my faves, along with the "Hole in the...
I always liked the songs the best... "Imagine That" or "Dance Ourselves to Sleep". Its getting hard for me to remember a lot of the great sketches, but I always loved those two.
YEAH! That was "teeny little super guy"! My favorite one was when his nephew or whatever went to school. Teeny litltle super guy lived in the kitchen cabinet. :)
I hate the new sesame street.
But the things I miss about classic Sesame?:
1)Classic Bert and Ernie: The "Imagine That" song and the one where he dances to sleep with the sheep.
2) Teeny Little Super Guy.. remember him? Sniff.
3) The girl who used to take her llama to the vet.
