That's a good question. I honestly don't have enough information to say anything for sure. Almost everything I have said has been pure speculation as a result of what I have resesarched and observed as a third party. I have not been associated with the company for long, and I'm not in the...
Unfortunately, as in any human surveying, there are always going to be factors that you can't account for, such as previous exposure to current SS characters. Research is not my area of specialty (as I've only done research on their research, if you get my drift), but I imagine that they try to...
What you said about other shows and competition is straight on superfan. And don't get me wrong, I respect anybody's opinion they have about the show and its characters. I feel the same way sometimes: that Elmo gets a lot of air time. But when I watch my young cousins watching Sesame Street...
No worries. I'll do what I can. I really wish I could say more. But, that's show business, I guess. I think more details on the upcoming season should emerge soon, as taping begins in the next month.
I check in on things from time to time, but I haven't posted in a long time. I feel a lot of it is constantly the same old go-around, but I post when I feel I have something valuable to contribute. As for the new season, I unfortunately can't say much right now, but it will be a good one...
As a SS fan and a casual reader of the MC forums, I feel the urge to post on the current condition of SS, in particular about "classic characters" people would like to see return, and Elmo. I know, I know, "Not another Elmo thread!" but hear me out, please. I think that it's important for all...
I'm trying to find a copy of the sheet music I'm Going to Go Back There Someday. Piano/Guitar would be nice. If all there is out there is something someone transcribed themselves, that's fine. Thanks.
Call me closeminded, but it sounds like this company is just interested in experiementing with the muppets. I'm open to new ideas, but right now I think the muppets need a well known name and a stable company that knows how to market them, yet still allows the team to be creative. If they were...
I like the scary ambience in the Christmas Future scene. Christmas Future is definitely cool/scary. Christmas Past is freaky for me.
I love Gonzo as Charles Dickens!
The scenes are just too hard to pick.
This entire movie is just wonderful. It combined two of my favorite things...
The scene(s) where Big Bird is up on the roof waiting for Santa Claus 'cause of mean ol' oscar. The icicles forming on his beak were a touch of genius. Brings a tear to my eye thinking about the sad situation...:(
Lisa: Dad, what's a muppet?
Homer: Well, it's not quite a mop...not quite a muppet. But MAAAAAN....hee hee hee. So to answer your question: I don't know.
:D
I find all of these foreign Sesame Streets fascinating. I love how they adapt the shows to what's important in that country. Probably a good thing to study for anyone interested in international culture. My question is: how does CTW handle producing in foreign countries? Do they form teams...
