The Jazzy Spies/Bert & Ernie transition

Ahh...so it 'twas. Thanks a bunch for the refresher....I believe I remember it now (the 'I 8 the sandbox' skit)...though for some reason i never tied that one together with the jazzy spies toon. oh well, another of life's little mysteries solved... :excited:

The Jazzy Spies/Bert & Ernie transition

Hey, let me see if I got this right or not. Anyone remember that old counting cartoon with the racing cars (some call it the 'jazzy spies' series, because the cartoon always ended with these 10 spies in trenchcoats, and a lady singing 1-2-3-4-5-6...10)? well, i seems to remember that...

    SS Westerns

this is kind of a western....it has some muppet standing atop a cliff of a mountain range in the desert, where he's talking to the camera about 'echoes'. but everytime he yells into the void, the echo comes back in Spanish. (he'd yell, "ONE!"...and the voice would echo back "UNO!"...and so...

    Anyone remember this lost album?

Thanks! Looks like it might be available via ebay and such venues. Appears amazon.com doesn't have it for retail anymore...if they ever did.

    Anyone remember this lost album?

i remember as a kid having an LP record album of a bunch of sesame street characters singing songs...but in Bert's bathroom. basically, the album starts with Bert trying to take a bath, and then gets interrupted by Ernie (of course), and so starts a hilarity of typical Bert/Ernie banter. this...

    A possible Mumford skit?

Okay, I have a very vague recollection of a skit from probably the mid to late 70s, and i need some verification as to whether or not it's real or imagined... Basically it involves Mumford in Mr. Hooper's store...and he uses his magic to change the bar stools from blue (or maybe they were...

this was probably one of my all time favorite ditties from classic ss....the animated short was memorable too. anyone have or know where i can get a mp3 of the song? i've tried kazaa file-sharing programs and the like but haven't gotten many good bits for my ss catalog. thx

    Songs of Joe Raposo

i was wondering the same thing. maybe joe was just using a funny voice for that bit, but i remember whoever it was singing that weird ditty sounding waaay different than songs like "everybody sleeps", etc.

See if anybody remembers this one

the small v skit speaking of weird animation shorts from the early 70s...this one kind of freaked me out as a kid....i'm not sure how much of it goes, but it's just the letter v falling through the sky, and some narrator going... "smaaaaaaaaaaaaaall v...v...v v v v va va va...

See if anybody remembers this one

haven't seen this one talked about on here yet....it's really trippin'. it's a short animated skit of the letter z....real old, probably from early 70s.....it's an all white background with nothing but a simply drawn, orange-colored character as the 'protagonist' of sorts......it starts...

Where can I get original SS footage?

i'm also new...was wondering the same thing. think i've seen on here where you can get clips of the classic numbers and letters skits with "Learning About Letters" and "Learning About Numbers"...though i'm not sure if these are DVDs, CDs, games, tapes, or if they're even for general...

Skits that made you kind of sad

just for FYI purposes...the music (acoustic guitar) heard during this clip of the flower is actually Vivaldi's classic Guitar concerto in D (2nd movement...adagio).
