I used to watch it years ago but it's not on anymore. I can't really remember who any of them were, perhaps Ryan Stiles? Tall and skinnyish? Hmm. It was pretty funny though.
That was a brilliant chapter and I have to say a clever bit of writing utilising Uncle Deadly for a bit of comic relief there. This just keeps getting better!
I dunno, who are they?
Basically I'm just looking for anything pertaining to the fantastical and/or supernatural. Anything involving mystical beings, ghosts, unexplained phenomena, legends of witches, local bogeymen, enchanted places, cursed places absolutely anything like that.
Don't...
I don't know if this should be here or in General but anyway.
I was wondering if any of you could help me with some research on local legends, folklore and myths. It's for a personal project I'm working on and I would really like to have a wide array of info to choose from.
Please include...
1. Don't feel bad over having heartache - it's called 'ache' because it hurts.
2. Rather than trying to get back to where you were when you first started dating try to find a new plateau of wonderfulness. When you first go out with someone it's all new and exciting and it's all about getting...
From what I can tell it comes from a mix of the March Hare and possibly something to do with the Ides of March even though they're not till the 15th. I dunno though, a lot of superstitions are too vague to get a real idea about.
Ah 'tis a sad tale of coastal erosion resulting in a landslide that took the hotel with it back in 1993. My Dad took me up to look at it later and it was so weird half the hotel was still standing and you could see all the furniture in disarray and there were a couple of towels on a rail just...
Spending lots of money on other people's birthdays and anniveraries :grouchy:
On another note my fella does that whole 'white rabbits' thing on the first of every month. I keep telling him it's only meant for March but he doesn't listen to me. :smirk:
I know it sounds a little random but have you tried meditating? I don't mean fully adopting some random Yoga position and chanting away to yourself I mean take five minutes a day to relax in a quiet room with no interuptions and just put the day in order. I used to be a typically angry teen (I...
Well, strictly speaking Bacchus originated from the Greeks, though the Romans adopted him (I wonder why...)
If you want to mean about spelling how about the minor god Aeternitas (pronounced Eternitas)?
Typo or word play? Either way bummer on no eatingness. :sympathy:
Weather: Warm and intermittently wet.
Breakfast: Pancakes - the English kind, which I have heard Americans call crepes but crepes are much thinner than these. Anyway, American pancakes are more like Scotch pancakes from...
Excellent start, I love the bit where, even though money's tight, Kermit still gives a quarter to the busker. I think you've got the 'voices' of the characters down brilliantly too, from what I recall anyway( I just gotta get my hands on the Season One DVD when it's out).
Good show!
Needles are nothing to fear - but I would say that, I'm not scared of them so instead I'll just wish a whole heap of my fearlessness on you! (I'll want it back for my next blood donor session though ;) )
Seriously though - you'll be just fine.
Hehehe I thought it sounded familiar! :o That's what you get for typing faster than your brain's working!
Oh well, I suppose we could go with a godess as we only have Venus so far. Juno? Ceres? Diana?
Or we could try a different bunch of Gods, personally I quite like the names Loki or Hades.
