I bought the DVD this past Friday after I had gotten off from work, and on Saturday my day off I sat down and watched it.
I was very pleased with the way the movie was writen I am a big Neil Gaiman fan of his (Sandman) comics, and his novels. After Helena slips into her dream state everything...
Hey MuppetDude if you do have that I would like to see that film again as well! If you're a part of YouTube.com you can upload it to the site, I am sure some of the other nostalgic SS fans would love to see it as well.:) ;) :excited:
New member Kerri jarred my memory of another numbers skit.
If you read her first post in the welcoming section she explanes the skit with a truck driver throwing boxes down a track while kids count them.
I like Janice, with her "Yeah ya know." additude and laid backedness. Floyd cuz he reminds me of my uncle Dan (just less Muppety). Animal is alright (but there is so much you can take of Animal before you go over the edge):(
Dr. Teeth.. eh I can take or leave him.
Never did like Lips.. and...
I almost forgot another numbers segment...:(
Does anyone remember a film that had jazzed up music, and a lady doing a voice over counting all sorts of airplanes?
my favorite numbers segments
#2 with the two little girls and the doll house (a cute classic) and Super 2
#3 the little red ball rolling around the giant track, the mad painter and the number 3 (hilarious)
#4 the cartoon elephant counting his feet, next ends up kicking his feet up in a little...
I remember that episode, and yes winds that strong are a little bit unheard of.
I live in the midwest where we don't have any big hills, or mountains to block the wind, save for the trees, or buildings but I will tell you this sometimes when the wind picks up to 50 or 60 miles an hour it makes...
another animal film
Speaking of which, on youtube they had one of my favorite animal films I remeber from SS the "That's a horse" film. When I saw it on youtube I had to add it as a favorite in my videos.
But somehow either I accidently deleted from my favorties list or somehow it got deleted...
I was born in '76 so I watched from about '78 until the end of the 80's. I tried to watch a show or two now but it just isn't the same anymore:(. They don't have all the cool, and neat skits, and cartoons, and films that most of us grew up on.. unless you get Noggin which will show some of the...
First off welcome to the forum Sean.
I would agree about the new Sesame Street, it isn't as exciting, or entertaining a whole lot now like it was when we grew up with it. I was born in '76 so I recall the tail end of the 70's and watched through most of the 80's.
When I had my DVR I had it set...
I remember all of them as well.. the Kermit one vaguely but I do remember the baker making the cake film, the saxaphone film, and the I-beam film.
I wasn't scared of the I-beam film.. I was more enthralled while watching it:)
Also welcome to the forum DetGoran
I love both actually.. but if I really had to choose between the two I would have to say Labyrinth, you just can't ask for a better villian than David Bowie, and his mastery of lyrics:) :D ;)
I remember RTO a little bit, it has been ages since I saw it. BTW wasn't it a young Fairuza Balk who played Dorthy in the movie if my memory serves me correct?
This is really good news indeed!:) Man I remember watching Dark Crystal way back in the day.. of course I watch it now too since I have the video of it as well. A long wait for a sequel but no worries the wait will be worth it:excited: .
Here would be another interesting movie to make a sequel...
