Yeah, Count, the second set of books you describe do sound like they could be the ones I have. Floydnjanicefan seems to remember them correctly as well...

Count,
Thanks for the detailed reply. Unfortunately, this is definitely not the set I have. If anyone would be interested in getting some pics, I could probably scan some in and clear this up...
Maybe more people will remember if they have a picture reference.

I'm not quite sure if this belongs here or in the merchandise forum...
I just recently rediscovered a set of books I've had since I was about 4 years old called "The Sesame Street Treasury". Each volume in this set is dedicated to teaching a certain letter and number, using great Sesame...
Phil,
To respond to your question, there is a lot of classic animation on this set.
Some of the more famous characters making appearances:
The Flintstones
Quisp and Quake
Marky Maypo
Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote
Franken Berry, Count Chocula, Boo Berry

Hi all,
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, and I apologize if it has, but I recently purchased a 2 DVD set from Madacy Entertainment called "TV Favorites: Classic Commercials".
It features over 3-1/2 hours of commercials from the 40's to the 70's.
Now, the quality of these...
"H-a-double r-i-g-a-n, H-a-double r-i-g-a-n, H-a-double r-i-g-a-n... Harrigan."
Yes, I remember.
And while we're on the subject, do you remember Snelgrove the Snail as well?

Hello,
I know there are many requests like this out there currently, but if anyone has some (or, more preferably, all) of the SSU episodes on tape, I would love to get copies. I don't have much to offer trade-wise, but I can certainly cover cost of tapes and shipping. Just e-mail me and let...
Hi all.
I was wondering if any of you are in bands, and if you are, have you ever played or considered putting together a show where all anyone plays is covers of Sesame Street tunes.
I know there are national acts who have covered SS songs before, but what I'm talking about is getting 5 or...
Does anyone remember the lyrics to the "Small B" song?
I remember it was accompanied by an animated short, but the only lyric I can recall is:
"Small B is a boy with a belly. He makes a 'B' sound..."
I think it also may have involved "Small D" as his dog.
Any help is appreciated...
I think the skit he's talking about is a live action short film set to the song "All By Myself" (not the Eric Carmen song). It had a kid in a snow hat on a merry go round all by himself just spinning.
I remember this very well because my mom used to tell me that kid looked like me.

On that note, I might add that in the mid 90's, Rhino released a boxed set of CDs from the National Lampoon Radio Hour. Along with some really funny sketches, there is a track sung by Christopher Cerf called "Little Miss Muffett" and another track called "Steppin' On A Spaniel" that sounds...
No one thus far has mentioned my favorite Sesame song of all time:
Chris and the Alphabets singing "Alive".
They eat and breathe and grow, and that is how you know, oh oh yeah yeah yeah they're alive!
