Well, your theory is okay, but you neglected any mention of Fozzie, who is gentle and not high strung at all. A comedian who really just wants to be accepted.
*Rizzo exits bathroom.
Do NOT Go in there! Heh, heh.
*Notices that the bus is still not moving and that all Muppets are still staring in his direction.
You didn't have to wait for me, ya know? Let's get this show onthe road!
It's funny... cause when they first came out, I only got the Wizard World Dr. Teeth.
I passed on all other figures until I got more money... but now I have a pretty full collection and that Dr. Teeth is worth a lot cause they only made like 500 of them.
Wow, Dmx10101...
If the Great Muppet Caper is not Muppety, then what is?!? The zaniness of the Happiness Hotel, all the Muppets going on Kermit's date, the frantic scene in the museum with the Baseball Diamond with Lewis Kazagger reporting.... Now that's what I call Muppety Fun!!!
Stultz, it appears you and I share a brain! That's dangerous!
Your lists and descriptions are right on... The reason AVMMCM topped the Muppet Christmas Carol on my list was because AVMMCM was original and it seemed to me a step in the right direction... the Fozzie subplot was great! And I...
* Rizzo runs from the van in which he was riding into the bus in front of him.
**He passes all the wondering Muppet eyes wordlessly and disappears in the bathroom inthe back of the bus.
AHHH!
No problem...
My girlfriend and I actually sang the "Pass It On" song from this movie on our first date. Not that she was a huge Muppet fan like me, but she was a fan of this special.
It was then that we realized that we were both dorks and we were made for eachother. :flirt: Good times!
It's called the "Muppet Family Christmas".
Greatest... Christmas... Special... EVER!!!!
It is readily available on DVD at most stores around Christmas time, but it has been chopped up and some of the songs are missing.
Hope this helps.
I know and absolutely agree with you 100%... just trying to spark some debate and have all the young bucks on the board go back and rewatch the Muppet Movie to (re)discover its magic and humor. I think it gets funnier as you get older!
This is not a bad idea. It was actually a good idea... the character portrayals were well thought out.
It's just not likely to be something that the Muppets would actually do.
Don't keep your ideas to yourself, this is a free message board... keep the ideas flowing!
You people are nuts!!
If you like the Muppets at all then the Muppet Movie should be at the very top of your lists. The Muppet Movie IS the Muppets! I mean I can understand if you are a lover of the fantasy films like Labrynth or Dark Crystal, but for pure muppetty goodness and fun, it's...
*Rizzo is in the front smaller van, hopping up and down in the back.
I have to go... I have to go!
I should have gone in one of the busses! They have bathrooms!
Hey all,
I am trying to complete my Palisades Muppet figure collection.
I have an extra Floyd, Janice, Dr. Teeth, and Clifford. Still carded.
Does anyone have a carded Statler, Vacation Fozzie, Vanishing Cream Beaker, Vacation Pepe, or maybe even a new MTI Kermit (considering I don't...
