Ok so i plan on actually building a live hand puppet. Im soooooooo obsessed with those kinds of muppets. like ernie but i wonder, how would you make the shirt with the sleeve. it seems challenging especilly iif the shirt has a pattern on it like ernie's does. Please help me out :smirk:

how do they attach the heads to the bodies? do they like just stick the head's neck sleeve in the body/ or is there a special attachment? :p
when ever i see bert, or a what not, when they have one arm rod, the other arm is stuck on the side of them. now my question is how do they do that? do they literally stick a pin in the arm and on the side?
sorry if this question makes me stupid
i found another major one. in the song "its a circle" sung by bert and ernie, when bert is singing his part of the song, you can see that eric jacobson was alittle to silly and when bert said "hey!" you can see the whole body of bert and a bit of erics shirt sleve. he mustve been wearing a white...

There was this sketch called dancin shoes where :p:(:batty: and elmo were dancing with real humans about all the dances your shoes can do. does anyone have that sketch? they took it down from Youtube
oh i thought so, casue i was watching an amazing mumford sketch and i seemed to see a little TOO MUCH of mumford sleev that jerry used. i think i saw that end of the sleeve and something lavender at the end. i figured that was a long glove.
I read that live hand muppets hands are gloves, but are they (gloved hands) stitched on the puppets arm, or does the puppeter have a glove that a normal glove youd wear, and insert it into the handless puppet sleeve?
There was a bert and ernie sketch called "Big shelf little shelf" and i havent been able to find it. its where ernie had to decide where to but a vase and that if he broke that vase, bert would throw him out of the aprtment. anyone have that sketch?
LOL yes that opera singer was large orange. i saw also on an emos world episode where elmo imagined himself as Pinocchio. Geppeto was large orage also. *they edited out his t-sleeve*
