Lisa, this is awesome and cute for Christmas. Somehow you've managed to make this concept less smaltzy than the recent Christmas special, which is impressive. When I was reading Electric Mayhem singing 'Drummer Boy', it came on the radio, appropriately enough.
They definitely were targeting this special to children, but I enjoyed it regardless. It had it's funny and cute moments. I wish I had an opinion on the songs, but I was watching it with my friends' boyfriends they left in our dorm suite to annoy me, apparently, and they talked over them. I...
It was really cute...of course, I was watching with a couple of guys who couldn't shut up, so that might have impaired my watching...but I really did enjoy it.:)
Yeah, I understand the feeling of getting reviews for something you wrote a couple years ago...
The funny thing was, I was looking for Muppet Fic on FFNet, and I really was starting to think that it literally DID NOT EXIST. So, I'd have to write some. So, when I discovered these forums and...
At the risk of sounding like...everyone else who has commented on this.
MOOOORE PLEEEEASE.
Seriously, though, it's excellent. The Dog really is an integral member of the cast, because of the great advice he gives--so him not being able to do what he loves...well, it's difficult.
I realize this is way, way, WAY after the fact, but I really wanted you to know how touching I found this story. The universe you created around Kermit's family (or built off of--I understand the universe is some collective creation of the forums, right?) really was very engaging, even though...
I thought you did job of portraying how someone's boyfriend/director/friend would react to the Craig Ferguson interview. In true Kermit fashion, gallantly.:)
Ahh, what a cliffhanger! I'm really looking forward to finding out what happens next...I'm Isabelle, by the way, I'm new to the forums.
The fact that the baby has brown hair makes me think that it's...Piggy's friend's baby? Of course, that doesn't make sense considering the pregnancy...
Haha, yeah, I've already been to the Fanfiction Index and started making my way through everything...I got so frustrated looking for ANY Muppet fic on FFNet, it's half the reason why I joined the forums, just so I could review all the great stuff that everyone's written.:)
Amazing!
I'm brand new to the forums, all I can say is...this is an amazing story. I'm really hoping someone has the guts to insult Piggy, and she karate chops them instinctually. THEN we'll know she's back.
Hello, I'm a 19 year old girl from Seattle. I watched all the Jim Henson movies when I was a kid and absolutely adored them, but I have a special place in my heart for the Pig and the Frog in particular. I recently started getting back into the Muppets and I've been watching old clips from 'The...
