    Favorite Count Von Count Moments

My favorite was when the mailman came to his castle with sacks of mail. Turns out Count was writing himself letters just to count them. He had this great line where Henson as the mailman says "Wow, you get a lot of letters. You must have a lot of friends" And Count goes "Friends? I have no...

    Muppets Tonight- how many episodes?

I only caught glimpses of it when it originally aired and downloaded the prince episode. Does anyone know how many there were and who were the guests? I can't seem to find an epsiode guide.

What sketches scared you as a kid?

That was it alright Niall. One sketch, huh? I guess the scars ran deep. Man, it was scary reading your synopsis. I remember having a nightmare where Count turned all the other Muppets on Sesame Street into vampires and he was counting how many members of the undead he was creating. Pretty...

What sketches scared you as a kid?

I can't believe NO ONE has mentioned this. i had nightmares about it until I was 8. The first sketch with the count where Ernie is building the pyramid with blocks and count keeps counting them, dissasembling it in the process. OK, it doesn't sounds scary but every time Ernie tries to stop...

    Favorite Muppet compilation special

Yeah, what was with those big chunks missing from the Christmas special? Especially that awkward one with Fozzie and the Snowman? What rationale is there for cutting time on the video from something that already aired?

    Well now I've done it.

Lately it's been all DC Direct and Marvel legends. they're in scale with each other, have great sculpts and classic renditions of the characters. But it's the Muppet line that really has my attention now. I can't believe series 3 got pushed back to next year! Thanks for all the welcomes...

    brothers and sisters

Every now and then someobody posts about trading vhs editions of long gone shows. They worry about quality, shipping, costs, etc. It does not have to be this way. If we could just convert more of these tapes to avi, divx or quicktime, we can post them on file sharing like Kazaa or...

The Muppets At Walt Disney World

i can't help you with Disney but if you want to see the 30 years special, they have it in the Museum of Televison and radio. It's a bit of a trip from PA to NY but worth tacking on to any trip up you may plan.

    idea's for 14 playsets

I know that link and Strangepork will be in their PIS duds but at some point i'd like to see Link in that cheesy ascot or the track suit he wore in the Peter Sellers episode. I heard the Link was one of Jim's favorite voices to do and he would torture everyone in the house with it.

    Muppet Show Bloopers & Mistakes

If you watch TMTM open frame you can see Jim's arm at the bottom of Kermit. A LOT. Another great argument for original aspect ratios. Also in the opening of TGMC when the car crashes into the fruit stand, you can clearly see the car has no windshield. i believe a pineapple rolls into it.

Favorite celebrity appearances on "Sesame Street"...

I always remembered Richard Pryor having conversations with himself with no background. I always accepted him as a legend of comedy after that. Slightly off topic John Cleese on the Muppet show is a television gem.

With all seriousness, I've been doing some thinking...

It seems like Jim got bored easy and wanted to move to the next thing. It's been said often that he was never too attached to the characters and always felt the puppets were tools. When they started Muppet show I doubt they thought too much about Sesame street. Once Jim got into the Drak Crystal...

    Favorite Muppet compilation special

30 years, definitely. I taped it when it aired. I'd love to know what happened to it, or at least get a dvd. Columbia should sell a dvd with 30 years, muppets go to the movies and celebrate Jim henson. That would be perfect. I used to work in the Museum of Television and Radio in New...

Do you know what they do to old muppets?

kinda zen, actually brings new meaning to 'we come from the water, living in the water, go back to the water, turn the world around'

    idea's for 14 playsets

All I want is the backstage. I REALLY want the backstage. Even more than the stage. As long as it has two levels and doors that open I'm happy. Of course, El Sleezo and the mallory Gallery would seriously kick.

    Well now I've done it.

I've turned the Muppet corner. Oh sure, I loved the Muppets since I was three, even checking them out secretly during high school. And in the last few years, I bought all the time Life dvds and the first two movies. When I heard about the figures, I thought they were cute but not anything I...
