My dog and best friend Max, 1994-2009

Well, the job has been done. Max has gone to the great Pet Shop in the sky. At the time, my entire family was crying. But at least he didn't die in pain. I mean, right now he's running about heaven like he did when he was alive. He might even reunite with his former girlfriend Devon, who was a...

    Coraline: Animated Movie (2009)

****, I wish I saw it in 3D. I'm thinking of buying the DVD just to see what a wonderfully sinister movie it is.

My dog and best friend Max, 1994-2009

It's about a few hours away until it's "Bye Bye Doggy" for Max. So far, his last few hours on Earth have been met with tearful goodbyes, sobbing "don't go"s and plenty of tributes. I made a plasticine model of Max, complete with his trademark jowels. Anna swam with Max for the the very last...

What TV shows are you currently watching?

I haven't been watching much TV lately. I sometimes watch ALF reruns on WGN america. One show that intrigued me was Glen Martin DDS, due to it being in stop motion. But after one episode, the gross-out humor grew thin, the stop motion looked lifeless and too plastic looking, and because of the...

My dog and best friend Max, 1994-2009

Monday: Max's very last day Well, today's the day we all dreaded. On one hand, I reserved Metroid Prime Trilogy, which is 3 great games in one. But not even video games can distract me from the truth that haunted me for the last 2 days. I'm fine with death in movies and games, but in real life...

    A couple new puppets

Great as always! By the way, how is DotBoom humming along?

What is up with these DISTURBING commercials, lately?

I'm a fan of stop motion, but that's some pretty bottom of the barrel stuff.

    Creepiest Movie Ever!

The Polar Express sticks out in my mind as very creepy. if multiple Tom Hanks clones doesn't get you, the bad animation and stagnent eyes will. Coraline looks creepy in a cool way, but that's just from previews I've seen.

    Zemekis/Disney To Remake "Yellow Submarine?"

Wait... Motion Capture? That's like trying to remake Fantasia in live action!

My dog and best friend Max, 1994-2009

It's also a good thing that I'm on a forum that cares. Any other member on another forum would would say ":mad:we don't care about your fricking problems. Your stupid dog deserves to die you idiot!" Or somthing like that.:)

    The Videogame Thread

Lucasarts recently Released a special edition of the original with both the original and and a new version with new graphics and voices. Both modes can be changed on the fly. P.S.: E.T the game is one of the worst games ever, and many cartriges are in a buried landfill right now!

I'm a game guru, and I heard Ghostbusters was pretty well recieved by critics and players.

    The Videogame Thread

I heard Battle Revolution was really bad, and it was only worth playing if you have the DS games.

    The Videogame Thread

I recently rented Metroid Prime 3 at the library. I'm new to the series, but I loved it! Great control scheme, maybe better than most FPS's on the market. thoughtful puzzles too. It's only a rental, but I reserved Metroid Prime Trilogy at GameStop, which is all 3 Prime games in one!

My dog and best friend Max, 1994-2009

My parent's plan to euthenize(can't spell anything right) Max shook up the family to the worst extent, especially my sister Anna, who dreads the day (tommarow) that my parents scheduled Max to bite the dust. However, we already set up plans to remember him. we'll be making a plaque with his...

My dog and best friend Max, 1994-2009

Max was born about a year before me, given to my Mom as a gift from my Dad. We treated him as a part of the family, and even when we got two more dogs, he remained a part of the family. He is now 15 years old, WAY past the normal lifetime most dogs have. However, he hasn't aged gracefully. He...

Best place to get Puppets for a High School Theatre Group

I make all of my puppets, but I'm not allowed to sell any. So this is my advice: puppets built by yourself saves you money. Project Puppet is a great place to learn the ropes of puppet making using their patterns.

    Great Photo of Sesame Muppeteers!

I haven't really seen the entire puppeteer cast in one photo, so this IS very cool. P.S.: do I spy Steve in this picture?

    The work of Paul Vincett

Paul Vincett is a London-based puppet/prop/costume designer/builder and an illustrator who works freelance. What I really like about his work is that his characters look almost nothing like The Muppets. They do have round heads like most puppets do, but their designs are really original and...

Mario- The Puppet (same thread, but in a more common place

I found out BJ Guyer did a Mario puppet for a show called Videogame Theater. It looks like a puppet that would appear on Crank Yankers, but it makes a great frame of reference. image link http://cdn1.gamepro.com/blogfaction/images/101%20poker.jpg
