It may not even be available because I've posted a few times, so there is a chance no one may have it, but I am looking for a certain Kermit skit.
It's been talked about in a few posts and by now some may be sick of hearing it, but here it goes:
I'm looking for the skit where he has two...
You know something, I think I solved the mystery of that skit. And someone even touched on this before. The lecture was about 'more and less', hence the monsters coming in, Kermit probably meant now there were more monsters and less frogs. I THINK that was the message.
My favorite was the one with the rectangle. He tells CM to beat it so he could continue his lesson and Cookie pounds on the rectangle, breaking it in half. I loved Kermit's response to this:
'EEEESSHH!!!!'
1.) Maybe because CM was being yelled at by Kermit and they had that special Monster bond? LOL! I really couldn't tell you quite frankly.
2.)Sounded like some kind of organ music from what I recalled, but I'm not sure of that either.
3.)What made it scary was the erie music, and the...
We know they did 'Octopus' Garden' and Oliver's 'Good Morning Starshine'. Also the Beatle's 'Yellow Submarine'. Are there any more, or have I named them all?
Here are some real scary ones:
That skit of 'The boy and the girl and the jellybeans'. During the last part, the monster comes on to the sound of that thundering piano! Now THAT was frightening, and those of you who saw it know what I mean.
Kermit's lecture, he was probably taking about...
In watching the early SS clips, CM's voice sounded different. At first, I don't think it was Frank Oz who originally did his voice. Unless I'm wrong, it just sounded different to me. Did someone else do his voice before Frank? I know he did the voice of the Beautiful Day monster (Jim did the...
It's amazing how Kermit has taken on an identitiy of his own over the years, how some see him in mainstream as a star rather than just part of a show like SS or Muppets. They did a fun interview with 'Kermit' on,forget what show, I think it was on channel 7 WABC. Since this is his 50th year...
Now this was done when I was a bit older, I was watching it with my younger cousin who at the time was a big SS fan.
CM goes to a library and each time after he asks for a certain book he wants a box of cookies with it, and the he gets more and more impatient. After three times, he says 'Just...
Did SS ever do a skit called 'Octopus Garden? I know it was on the Muppet Magic DVD from Ed Sulivan, it was mentioned somewhere SS did a version of it. That was SO funny by the way, I watch it over and over. The wise cracking Octopus (Frank Oz) steals the show, so to speak.
