Does anyone remember the 'Simon Soundman' skit where Simon gets taken away by the Lone Ranger after imitating a horse?
The Lone Ranger was made out of Guy Smiley ,too!
How about Kiss? They're more muppet now than legitimate band.
A couple of years ago I would've put forward Metallica. Think of it
. . . James Hetfield dueting with cookie on a remake of ' C Is For Cookie'. LOL!
I've seen and heard Bennet Snerf in two 'What's my Part?' skits, and he looked and sounded different both times. I always thought the guy who said, "How about glasses" was supposed to be Hemlock!
Can't really help you there, dude (being Australian). However the Cookie Monster (or a muppet that looked 90% like him) was used in a commercial in the sixties a couple of years before jim started SS. the only difference between monsters was a set of gleaming white choppers.
I used to enjoy the few times that Grover would lose his temper
.. ."ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDS?!" LOL! It is said that Frank Oz wants out, he shall be deeply missed. Really, you could say his heart hasn't really been in SS ever since Jim died.
Prairie Dawn was like the little girls growing up fast, showing intelligence , talent and maturity. She always seems the voice of reason while her fellow muppets were wacky. She works off them well . . .this is my opinion, anyway.
