"Oh but don't worry! Muppet Vision is here to stay!"
Sure, Disney.
It would be SO easy to rebrand. It is very loosely Muppet Themed. All they would have to do is take down some of the artwork, and put up a new sign. Much to my disappointment, I have to side with DarthGonzo
Normally, I would predict a promo with Kermit coming in the near future, but since they are so hesitant to put Matt's Kermit into the world, it is safe to say that we will first hear it on September 8th.
Also, do you think this will be done like Carnegie Hall, where the performers are hidden...
According to ToughPigs, there may be a new attraction coming to Star Wars land in Disney. It looks like it will be the same format as "Great Moments in American History" with the live puppets, but they will be spoofing Star Wars.

If true, it makes sense. From day one, I figured Peter would at least take over Rizzo (his vocal range is perfect for the character), and I am sure he could pull off the rest of the characters listed. He is a very talented puppeteer with very few characters, so it's nice to see Disney putting...
Alright. I guess it's time for another one of my world famous riddles.
Back in early July, I rented the book "Of Muppets and Men" from my local library. Now, what does this book have in common with the "Muppets Thought of the Week" video?

They are both about a month overdue
I just realized that we might not be having a lot of new projects coming up that we don't know about. For one, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade was shortly after this, they probably started taping the Muppet Thought of the Weeks videos soon after, and the Hollywood Bowl show has probably been...
You have every right to be angry, but this is the Steve we see on camera. None of us know the Steve off camera. For all we know, he might be an entirely different person.
I don't see why they would delay the video any longer. The news is out that Kermit has a new performer, all the bombshells have already dropped, so people know this video is coming. If they are worried about angry comments, then they are just pushing off the inevitable
I feel like Steve played it safe in this interview (which is good) by not directly addressing specific people. That would just draw even more attention to the drama. But I still feel that if Steve was being difficult and demanding like the Hensons have said, he will never say he was. Not because...
And just remember, Matt's Kermit might not sound as "perfect" as we would like, but then again, neither was Steve's in The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson. Give him some time to get comfortable with the role, and be supportive of him through this transition period.
