I don't see why they would delay the video any longer. The news is out that Kermit has a new performer, all the bombshells have already dropped, so people know this video is coming. If they are worried about angry comments, then they are just pushing off the inevitable

They are usually posted anywhere between 12:00 and 3:00, so I'd give it a couple hours before we worry about it being postponed

I feel like Steve played it safe in this interview (which is good) by not directly addressing specific people. That would just draw even more attention to the drama. And just remember, Matt's Kermit might not sound as "perfect" as we would like, but then again, neither was Steve's in The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson. Give him some time to get comfortable with the role, and be supportive of him through this transition period.
