So, it's been to quite some time since I posted here. Since joining the site, I've created at least two puppets, here's one of them: http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/3018/photoon20101219at0935.jpg
Now, I'm rather satisfied with this one. However, the other is... one I'm not all that satisfied...
So, the month of October has finally arrived, and you know what that means? Halloween, my 2nd favorite holiday of the year besides Christmas! Now, I'm one of those people about to enter high school who still goes trick-or-treating. In recent years, I've been making my own costumes. After my...
I recently watched this brilliant short film made in claymation called "More". Concieved by Mark Osbourne in 1997, "More" is about an unnamed man living in a grayscale world. He lives depressed, with his dehabilitating job not helping matters. The only thing that gives him any kind of solace is...
Max was born about a year before me, given to my Mom as a gift from my Dad. We treated him as a part of the family, and even when we got two more dogs, he remained a part of the family. He is now 15 years old, WAY past the normal lifetime most dogs have. However, he hasn't aged gracefully. He...
Paul Vincett is a London-based puppet/prop/costume designer/builder and an illustrator who works freelance. What I really like about his work is that his characters look almost nothing like The Muppets. They do have round heads like most puppets do, but their designs are really original and...
I'm making progress with my puppets. My character Imp, built on the sock puppet pattern from Project Puppet, turned out nicely. Bob, the first one that I created entirely on my own, looks great.
Now I want to make somthing a little more difficult. The Idea? making a human arm puppet out of...

Let me say this once: I'm a hardcore Pixar fan. I'm always stoked when the next Pixar movie gets announced. When Up got released, I desperately wanted to see the it. But, my sister (who would rather watch crap like Hannah Montana or what ever piece of BS the DC or Nick channels are cranking out)...
I have one question for all of you: What's your favorite puppet podcast? MIne would be DotBoom. Its probably the first "Muppets for Adults" series that I truely like. The jokes aren't so excessive as, say, Family Guy, which is a VERY good thing. In addition, I like how they made it on a...
Skippyshorts may not be familiar to most youtubers or Muppet fans, but by the time you read this, you will know. Skippyshorts are exactly what they are: Short, improvised skits that star a puppet named Skippy. Althugh they don't have the most technical brand of puppetry around, but their brand...

What are your thoughts on Star Trek? You don't have to be a trekkie.
My thoughts are that the movie was great. The new cast did fantastic, But the new Spock, Zackary Quinto, did the best job. And unlike other sci-fi epics, where action is used as filler for story, Star Trek actually struck a...
I'm in development of of a Cookie Monster replica, and I need a way to create the signiture googly eyes :insatiable:. I tried pinning the eyes loosely, but they fell off easily. Any ideas?
I have questions on building muppet replicas. Where can I get matierials like antron fleece(Project Puppet sells a good amount of foam, so thats out of the question), because I can't seem to find any of these things in a Jo'ann fabrics store. Any possible places to find matierials like these...
My favorite would have to be :sympathy:. A piano playin' dog is a win to me. Besides, he is the master of bad puns.
On the other end of the spectrum, was my least favorite. He never really made me laugh, but  did!
I live near Philly in PA, and I need to know where I can find local puppet workshops in the vincinity. Any of you know where:search: and how to get there:confused:?
