I hope there's never a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. It's not that it wouldn't be fun to see, but Bill Watterson has said that he doesn't want one done, and I really hope his wishes are taken into account.
I sort of imagine Calvin with a real child's voice. Like how Super Scooter described him...
Was Headlines on last night? That was always my favorite part of Late Night, but I didn't stay up long enough to watch the whole show. (I only saw the first forty minutes.)
There were parts that were really funny. But (speaking from the first night only) it really wasn't that different from his...
Wow! WOW! There's just so much to take in! I am really excited about the re-mastered MuppetVision 3D. I wonder when we can expect these changes to be made?
I think of Scooter as being quite a bit younger than Kermit and most of the other "main" Muppets. I see him as a bright eyed kid - probably either still in high school or having just graduated recently. In that since, I think it's impossible for everyone to have grown up together. His...
What really impressed me when I heard about his passing on the news was that he was married to his wife for 70 years. That's wonderful. It seemed like he lived a good life.
I always felt sorry for Michael in a Citizen Kane kind of way. In a sense, he was a man who had everything and nothing. No matter what is said of him, there is no denying he was beyond extremely talented and bought so much to the world. I hope he is at peace.
Farrah seemed like a very brave...
This is something that I feel is "early Gonzo" sort of material. Gonzo had grown as a character by leaps and bounds from the first season to the second season to the third season, but he still had some awkward moments like this.
Gonzo is written as an adult, but especially in the first season...
I really love the facial expressions you use! It seems like you do a great job at pushing and exaggerating the features in a funny way. Bert and Kermit's faces in the first picture are especially fun.
I just got back from Heroescon last night. I had a table of my own to promote my comic, so I wasn't able to walk around and look as much as I would have liked, but I was able to make it to the BOOM Studios booth. There were so many awesome comics, including a con exclusive issue of (I believe)...
Actually the first time I saw Up, the audience (A mixture of some adults and some families) was actually quite tame and I was glad of it. There were, perhaps one or two moments in which a kid laughed at an inappropriate time (near the beginning), but I don't think they knew how to react.
It was...
I saw the film both with 3D and without. Both were great, and I really appreciated that the 3D version wasn't a constant jumbling of junk flying at the audience's face and all around "cheap 3D tricks". It felt natural and appropriate. It was an enjoyable experience.
The worst part about seeing...
Bean is supposed to be so sickeningly adorable, it's annoying. I get where they're coming from with that, but he isn't unlikeable in his cuteness. They (writers and puppeteer (Steve, in this case)) could have really pushed that annoying level if they wanted to, I guess, but how he is seems right...
I much prefer the new story line to that. It would be horrible if Disney were left alone with the franchise. I adore Disney and I have been a lifelong fan... but they know how to make some stinker sequels.
There's a huge part of me that wishes this movie wasn't being made. It's not that I am...
