Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
I thought Hop would be just a typical CGI film, but after I heard more about it and saw the recent trailer, it was enough to drive me away from it.
I doubt a Muppet trailer will premiere in front of Prom (more like Bore), but maybe it will be on Pirates 4 or Cars 2. That's my thinking.
You might have not noticed, but when I was at Wall-Mart a year ago, I saw some past Sesame Street DVD's (at least from the Genius era) and on the back covers there was a white stamp with Warner Home Video's distribution notice covering the outdated copyright information.

It's a very eerie theory of why Bear came to an end.
It seems like in the past, Disney got what they wanted, complete control over Bear and his friends.
Now it seems like they don't wanna use the characters anymore, not even rerelease some the DVDs. :cry:

I do have mixed feelings on the Disney ownership.
In its defense, it was always Jim's desire to have the Muppets at Disney. A deal with Disney buying the Henson company was almost a go-ahead, but Jim died the week he was to sign the contract...
So far, no progress.
The last I heard about the Fraggle movie was that those silly willy Weinsteins put the film on an infinite hold. That tells us that they don't want to do this film, even after their edgy concerns on Cory's script.
The movie's been stuck in development for almost six...
I belive that The Jim Henson Company and Sony were considering a sequel for Labyrinth in 1999, but they later decided to do something new and similar instead.
