They just built a Micheals near me. What do they call these dots though? Felt dots? Fuzzy dots? scrapbook dots? YIKES! I will ask someone when I get there this weekend. ;)
I have been working with these guys to make them look better and I feel like the Muppet builder/repairer is coming out of me for some reason. I have been looking into the Scott foam thing. I found some at my local store and been working with it. I am wondering if I could get paint and dab the...
OK LabRat, now you have to give us more detail on what the package looks like and what's the name on the front of the package so I can go and look for them myself for my Animal. I want to copy yours so mine can look that good!
I went to Joann's fabric's and looked in there Fur section. Wow, I did not know they had so much to offer. And found the longest black fur I can find and bought about $2.00 worth of it, got the glue they recommend and I cut off the fur pieces off of the backing. You know the strands of fur and...
Its just to me...and I don't know about you guys. Pictures just don't do anything justice until you have it in your hands. I was kinda of doubtful about Animal and now that I got him here, I think he looks awesome, with a little help from the local fabric store. I just re-did his eyebrows...
I am not going to make any judgements on Gonzo till he is out for shipping. The last thing you can do if you do not like him is send him back for your full refund....the end. In the mean time, We will all just have to wait in five /six plus months till that time comes, and all hope for the best...
Basically, they are ALL my favorite. I think I have been pretty possitive about them all. I think I said how I felt about them otherwise. To me, it really doesn't make any difference what they do. You would think the thought of there fans means more than anything else. For all we know, they...
Like I said, I sure miss the days when Travis use to come on here and hear our comcerns and he listened. He also use to give us updates when they made the changes. (sigh)the good ole days.
If I knew what type of fur it is, I would put that on it, but I am going to go to a hobby store and get a flat black model paint marker and color that in if I cannot find the fur.
Oh yeah, here is my pictures of ANIMAL!

Like Amy said awhile back when the prototypes where shown before presale. MR is working with Disney right now getting this right. So why are we so worried right now? We still have around six months to go before seeing the final product.
I guess I must be very fortunate about these to the degree that they make me feel good and bring me back to my childhood. I like them for what they are. I have been a collecter for many years as far as Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and now the photo puppet replicas. I have never seen anything...
It looks like his teeth are made out of foam with some kind of paint over it and they are hard. His eyelids are made out of foam....whic is weird since the tongue is not made out of foam but of some other material. His mouth moves up and down, it just doesn't close shut is all. Like I said...
Now that I worked with Animal for awhile, I am kinda happy with the way he looks on his head part. Now I got to find a way to pose him with Kermit and I will be happy. I am going to take pictures sometime soon.
I mean, he is not bad looking now that I got the hair right, I had to push down gently to get it to lay down. But do it carefully cause you do not want to break the feathers. The problem with his mouth is that his tongue is in the way and it is made out of like a rubber something....I don't...
