True, but that's kind of different becuase it's not something you would see in every single show on TV. How many shows do you see where a character is reminding everyone that their uncle owns the theater, where as how many shows have a stereotypical mama's boy in their cast?
Promo for episode 10 "Single All the Way"!
I'll be happy if Miss Piggy and Kermit get back together, as it will be a nice completion to this 10 episode story arc ... But I can't help but think that they didn't use Denise to her full potential. What will happen to her if Piggy and Kermit get...
I think jokes about Scooter being a mamma's boy is really getting old. It was funny the first few times, but now that's ALL they make fun about. They're making Scooter seem really pathetic.
But I really loved this episode lol. Piggy Water was a great running gag.
I have to be honest, I really don't like they way they're handling Fozzie in this series. The first few episodes he was tolerable, but eventually he just became plain mean and really stupid. The new writers need to realize that Fozzie isn't just a bear that tells bad jokes. That's not his...
Wow! "Going, Going, Gonzo" was a really nice episode! It had lots of great Gonzo moments, appearances by tons of the main characters (Rowlf included) and some really great one liners. Once again, Fozzie isn't in the episode *WOOP WOOP*. I never thought I would say it, but I can't stand Fozzie...
Me too! "Going, Going, Gonzo!" looks like it will have the same Muppety goodness as those episodes from the promo (Gonzo doing a stunt certainly helps that fact lol).
I don't know which sub forum to post this is in, but there's a new "the muppets." promo with Miss Piggy lip syncing to Adele's "Hello". I believe this is the first promo since the series has started to feature footage specifically filmed for the promo and doesn't take scenes from the show...
Sorry for the late response (you've probably seen the episode by now) but no. I'm not in Canada at the moment so I couldn't watch the episode yesterday and had to view it today. But from now on I should be able to watch the episodes on Mondays like before.
I am! Thanks for asking.
Anyway, I thought this episode was good, but it could have been better. Like other's have said, I'm tired of these dating plots and just really want some good old fashioned muppet chaos. (Btw, was Miss Piggy in this episode at all?)
People are getting worked up over that?! That's hardly considered a swear word (even if you do consider it one, it's EXTREMELY mild compared to half of the words you can get away with saying on TV these days)!
Yes, and no lol. I like the classic stuff and I occasionally read the Sesame Street threads but I don't post over there :(
The only "different" background Muppet I saw was Beautiful Day Monster ...
No, Walter didn't appear. It was the same standard characters that appear in most episodes (Kermit, Piggy, Deadly, Gonzo, Yolanda, Scooter, The Electric Mayhem, Denise, Sam, etc.), then like I said, a minor appearance of Fozzie (barely a line) and Rowlf. I like it that the show is keeping the...
