The closing theme to the rejected AS show Welcome to Eltingville is so awesome.
It was done by The Aquabats, who thankfully got their own show on the air at once point. They pretty much specialize in awesome theme music.
So, I discovered today that someone wrote a script for a fictitious Seinfeld episode about 9/11. It's strangely well done. Perhaps in bad taste, but it might just be the greatest fan fiction ever written.
What is the consensus on Dennis Miller? Do people find him funny or not? Despite not agreeing with his views much and barely getting his analogies, I always thought he was pretty funny even now.
Being a fan of both classic and modern Sonic, I'm just as excited for Project Sonic. Isn't as visually appealing though, modern Sonic games post-Adventure always look a bit bleak.
I don't know if this has been discussed anywhere else but, new Sonic game announced. This is exactly what I hoped Sega would do with Sonic, pull a Super Mario and make games taking from the classic 2D ones while aesthetically improving it. I mean, I'm in the minority that loves the 3D games more...
I'm a big fan of island music like ska and dancehall and calypso, but Baha Men's commercialized take on Bahamian music just doesn't do it for me. Always preferred the original version of Who Let the Dogs Out to the one everyone knows (and loves/hates?)
I do love this song they did for Stanley...
I used to wonder why the Baha Men were a one-hit wonder, then I heard their other songs and realized why.
Something about the way they sample "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" sounds so...wrong. Yet this song refuses to escape my head. :ouch:
Eugh, I just heard Scott Stapp (the guy from Creed who does the nose-yodel thing)'s performance of the national anthem and...ooh boy.
I cringed so hard.
Just had to bump this thread, because I've found what is probably one of my now favorite music videos. Four or so minutes of pure awesomeness, in both the song and the glorious hand-drawn animation.
Sigh, I wish cinematic 2D animation like this was still being done as much as it was in the past.
Another pilot I wish became a full-fledged cartoon is The Kitty Bobo Show. I love the character designs and the overall aesthetic.
If this came out today, it would totally be a Cartoon Network show. But in 2001 they probably didn't have their hipster-y young adult demographic yet.
