I thought it was a great reference! Unfortunately, I had seen this post before the show aired here in Los Angeles, so a little bit of the surprise was lost.
I thought it was very much like a Family Guy joke. I found it kind of odd, since South Park just had a two-part episode about how much...
I attended a similar event at the Hollywood Bowl in 2004, though that was for the Fourth of July. That event featured Big Bird, Elmo, Zoe, Rosita, and Prairie Dawn, with appearances by Grover and Oscar. I think I'll try to catch this upcoming show as well.
An interesting thing about the...
I know others have already asked this same question a number of times on this forum, but it never seems to get answered. So I thought I’d try one more time:
Does anyone know specifically where to find the buildings used in The Great Muppet Caper for the Happiness Hotel, Lady Holiday’s...
Are you thinking of "Histeria!" ? It ran from 1998 to 2001. Were you a "little guy" then? It was a Warner Bros. cartoon, but I don't know if Spielberg was involved. It was a pretty funny show that made an attempt at teaching history, but it didn't seem to get much attention and didn't last...
I got to see Alice Cooper perform at a small venue in Anaheim last Halloween. It was one of the most fun shows I've been to! He still does the all of his classic theatrics with the guillotine, straight jacket, boa constrictor, etc. I have a lot of respect/admiration for Alice Cooper...
Not sure if you got any responses yet, but that's something I could certainly do for you. I've been collecting records for two or three years now and upgraded to a newer record player just a couple of weeks ago. I'll try emailing you in the morning.

Chris, I will be travelling to London this summer and am hoping to visit a lot of Henson-related locations. Although the Fraggle Rock lighthouse doesn't interest me much, as it wouldn't be familiar to an American viewer, I'm glad I saw your post about meeting Fozzie and will try to see him...
Oh, wow! I had completely forgotten about the bridgekeeper. But it all sounds incredibly familiar now. I'd love to see some clips.
I've been neglecting the Sesame Street fan inside me for quite a while now, focusing more on the "Classic Muppets". But reading some of these Sesame posts in...
Every time I watched the show I hoped Bunsen and Beaker would make an appearance. Unfortunately they didn't show up nearly often enough. Does anyone know how often they did appear?
What do you guys think about the baby Muppet scene in the Muppets Take Manhattan? If I were picking my favorite...
I'll assume you're asking me and not Mathemagician.
I wanted to incorporate the name of one of my favorite characters, and Cantus (of the Fraggle minstrels) quickly came to mind. But there were already a few Cantus screen names on the forum. (And I'm not worthy of the name anyway. :)) So I...
Whoops, I knew I'd forget something.
Did anyone else see the puppeteer in the "Cookies in Bed" Ernie & Bert sketch? Just a little slip-up. I've really always been impressed with how they perform the bedtime scenes.

I just found this thread, and I'm sure glad I did! My brother and I used to love the martians, but I haven't seen one of their sketches in such a long time. So I watched them on youtube, and they are even funnier than I remember!
I also got to see some Biff & Sully, Teeny Little Super Guy...
There are three moments that stand out for me:
1) Hearing Kermit sing "The Christmas Wish" on the "A Christmas Together" album. A big part of it is that it's very noticably Jim's voice that I'm hearing, and I can feel that he truly believes in the words he is singing.
As an additional note...
travellingpat, that's quite a collection you have! And you visited Sesame Street in November? I didn't realize you could do that. How does one go about setting that up?
Murray
Hello!
I've finally made it to the forum! I've been visiting Muppet Central for quite a while now, first drawn to it after seeing the group that had all been brought together at MuppetFest, but have just now become a member. I had some email account problems initially, but have finally gotten...
