I'm noticing that nobody outside North America is appreciating the Fred Rogers rotation, are they? I can't blame them, and it's hard to understand Mister Rogers' impact if you didn't grow up with him. However, I would hate to see him pulled, he was very important to us. To everyone else in...
Well, it's not confirmed, of course, but remember, "3 Dressed Up As A 9" is about a lady in a bar dressed like a tramp, trying to pick up guys. I doubt if that would fly! :) Also, I doubt if the producers of SS would like kids to find out that the original of "Raise A Little L" is not quite...
How about how Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins turns into one of those beetle muppets (She Loves You) on "1979". Actually, he sounds more like a fly in your ear, but close enough!

I have "Oscar's Birthday Cake", it's not on that one. I also have Hip To Be A Square, if anyone is interested, on "Sesame Songs Rock and Roll" (VCD)

COOL! Actually, I just found "Christmas Eve On Sesame Street" today at a junk shop for 50 cents, but it's a bit scratchy. Oh well, like my daughter will care! I'm just glad to have found it...Anyway, I imagine there's probably no hope of a high-bandwidth station at least FM quality, is there...
We should never, NEVER forget these things. Just because something is terrible doesn't mean it should be swept under a rug. Here from Canada Sept. 11 was covered extensively and with great respect. I'm sure that was the case in 1963 as well, as my mom says even they went home from school...
I'm only 31 but I've seen some great clips of Kennedy. He seemed to have used the media to his advantage, as he appeared to have a natural charisma that made everyone admire him. He seemed easy going and he looked like he really enjoyed being the president.
Nobody likes thinking things...
This is terrible. My wife is a huge fan, as he was an early crush of hers. I feel very bad for her...this was very unexpected. I thought he was keeping busy lately with new projects, as my wife sometimes did searches on him to see what he was up to, and there were always plenty of new...
I found an old original VHS of "Doozer Music" yesterday. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but wanted to see if anyone was interested. The box is in OK condition, looks like it was from a rental place, but all stickers have been removed, some a little carelessly, but doesn't effect...
I used to wish I had large foam letters and numbers to illustrate my point, the way they always used to. They also used to stick letter combinations together on the wall on black cards. I liked that. Don't ask me why, I just thought it was cool!

I suppose we could also be "Hensonians", but that sounds like there's a town in the middle of nowhere called "Henson". Doesn't make much sense, really. Or it could be a large museum. "I went to see the new exhibit at the Hensonian." Not bad.

As fans of the entire Henson genre, does anyone know what we call ourselves? Star Trek fans are privvy to the term "Trekkies" (or "Trekkers, depending on who you ask), but we have nothing. Tonight, a friend of mine suggested the following and I got a huge kick out of it...tell me what you...
That's too bad, that's one of my favourite Muppet Show's. He's a great performer, but like many great performers, the celeb life gets to them and they think they can do anything. Right, James Brown/Phil Spector/Tommy Lee/Oasis/etc., etc., etc.?

lol...a Canadian quote! cool!
The way I see it, DVD is a great way to get our memories on to the next generation, so that then, they can do whatever they want with it. I'm transferring my VHS memories to VCD and soon, DVD so the stuff won't rot! Tape is a fickle mistress...play the tapes...
