From the sound of the Frog's voice it leads me to believe it was Artie who was one of the chosen Kermit performers for the audition they had a few years back. I got to see the actual in-house tapes of what the replacement performers did, and I must say it was astounding.
The actual song was a recording, the little bit of Kermit running up with the DVD was live, and did sound like David Rudman's Scooter. Most likely this was Rudman filling in for Steve, lyp-synching to Steve's recording.
If someone knows different and for sure then please do correct me.
Well I am actually recovering both the couch and chair in the same fleece, so I would actually be dying fleece. There still must be a color formula used to create the color, even if the fibers themselves are dyed before it is threaded.
How bout MR Kermit, that color would work just fine for...
I've checked with the pantone colors as well, but I'm now thinking that they probably use Aljo dyes as it's a more professional grade and quality than RIT, and you can achieve richer deeper colors then you'll ever get with RIT.
I'm looking at the MR Kermit and it is the correct color, however...
Lol; sorry for the misunderstanding guys; Thanks ravagefrackle... But I am looking to dye material, I know I will not match stock material exact. I'm looking for the actual mix of colors using RIT or maybe one of the better dyes like Aljo, or something similar.
I ordered RIT's neon Green, but...
Ok, so planning on purchasing two eFX Kermit's, one for display and one to keep in the box and save. The one for display I will be placing in my home theater room, which is a retro TV theme, lots 70's collectibles. I am redoing my couch and chair and would like to dye the material Kermit green...
The only thing strange about it is it's a mass-produced piece made in China. Muppets are suppose to be built by a skilled builder. Just because it's the same color green fleece does not make it an actual Muppet quality poser.
You heard it, Avenue Q will be closing down in September... Make way for Jerry Lewis!

I was going to say, I don't remember Puppet Productions ever attaching the hands on the human arm puppets. As I remember they use to put a spandex strip so it clings to the wrist.
It's a shame, they were pretty innovative back in their hay-day, the early to mid 90's. Remember Puppet Tunes...
what a disgrace, how degrading can you get. For years Frank Oz brought Cookie Monster to life as such a beloved character to millions all over the world, then these schelps come and try to pass it off as the real Cookie Monster all of a sudden being addicted to pot. RETARDS!
The whole world misses Jim and could really use him right now. He was at his prime when he died and it's just not fair. There was nothing good that came out of his death besides realizing what we have lost.
I wish that Frank could have carried on the Muppet legacy a little better, he really just...
His wife Melissa use to help out with puppeteering back when he was working on The Muppet Show and various other Muppet productions. You'd probably be able to catch her on some behind the scenes photos. Check in Of Muppets and Men.
There are 13 shows in the line to close, and Avenue Q is in that lineup. I do not see how they would just throw that in the list if it weren't true. Maybe that's news that's gonna hit the people involved last. That's usually the way it works.
