You know, in my mind, Jerry Nelson has always been a cornerstone in Henson productions. He's one of the main pillars and a foundation that has sustained these productions over the years.
It's impossible for me, of course, to think of Jim Henson's work without thinking of Jerry Nelson because...
Well that's just terrible. What a tremendous loss. His contributions are far too many and far too influential to just name. The Muppet family wont be the same. We'll miss you, man. We already do.
Jeeze! Well I hope whoever is sending the bad comments ISN'T just another contestant. Coming to think of it-- No. No one should be saying anything negative about someone else's art work. Oh sure I've seen some things over on the Talenthouse page that make me go 'What the heck is---!?' but the...
Hey guys! OH I want to watch those. I don't know if our cable televises the events though. ~_~ GRRR! I didn't realize they were already going on. I'm going to have to do a little digging to see just what I can find. Though tomorrow I go back to my stupid regular job. ~_~ Bleh
And so the Olympics come to a close. *siiiiigh* Anyone else feeling tremendous let down like me? What a great competition we had this year. There were so many outstanding moments. So many beautiful and tragic stories. I'm tellin' ya guys! There is just something so TRUE about the Olympics...
Well, our coverage can be pretty pitiful, it's true but for once I'm just happy they are actually televising events in which Americans are not participating. In the past, there was much less of that. If we didn't do it, it didn't matter.
I did think the bit with the literature references was a...
I disagree. I know a lot of people were either iffy or unimpressed with the historical bits but that was what I enjoyed the most. I keep hearing the critique that it was 'too English' but I don't know about that. I'll grant you it was a little disjointed but the rings and the lighting of the...
LOL Well, your suffering is over by now. Man...I hate that I have to go back to work tomorrow. I'm going to be longing for Olympic coverage. I'm going to have to look for live feed on websites. lol
DVR for everything else.
^_^ Change the channel, ya dope! ....Says the girl who is yelling at the TV because of gymnastics. I'm telling you, I just can't enjoy it. Mostly, I feel really awful for the girls who put their entire lives into this and sink or swim in under 5 minutes.
I need to check out this album!
Ugh! Gymnastics is nerve racking. It makes me too tense to watch. ~_~ Archery was cool though. Japan got the bronze and they deserved it. I loved how cheerful they were when the tension broke. I swear Kanie looks like Velma. o.o
OH! That was a tremendous last rally wasn't it?! I was right at the edge of my seat with that. The game as a whole was great but those last few minutes were just awesome!
YES! I have to agree with everything that's been said here so far. I know some people were a little disappointed with the opening but I really have to say that the whole first part of that blew me away. In particular, the forging of the Olympic rings through the industrial revolution....I mean...
Well, we are in the states...Vinnie is in Thailand? Was it? Or Taiwan? Something with a T. England is many hours ahead. I wanna say something like....4 or 5 hours ahead.
