I don't think Dave Goelz is IN the movie. I saw that pic as well and to me it looked like a on the set shot where Dave just happened to be in way of the camera. Though I agree with you that I do enjoy when the performers make cameos in the films. :)

RE: Muppeteer salaries.. I think what everyone's forgetting is that the Muppeteers are freelance performers. They are not regular employees of Henson. They are paid by the job like any freelancer is. So yes, I would guess some of those who are doing more work than others are getting paid more...
