Back "in the day" I have written a few reviews for this site for a few Muppet projects and I really enjoyed it and got some nice feedback. I really enjoy writing it was one of my greatest strengths throughout school and it would be especially fun to write pieces on Muppet stuff.
As I don't...
Personally, I'd rather have Disney put their energies into getting the rest of The Muppet Show seasons out on DVD then on a cable network.
The good old days of cable are gone, my friends. :( I remember being so excited when we first got it back in 1987 and loving every minute of it and now...
I missed this as well. I've been dealing with a personal family health issue so my mind hasn't been on T.V. or much else lately and I forgot to set up to record this....I tried ABC.com's website but they dont' have it available and couldnt' find anything on You Tube yet.
That would be awesome! I still haven't seen the Bremen one. Hey Cinderella I saw once YEARS ago and Frog Prince was one of mine and my sister's favorites when we were younger though I don't have a copy of it.
Hey we can't really complain here in NYC. Not only did we just have that great event in NJ (ok, it's Jersey but it's still NY/tristate area), we had the Henson film fest in Huntington a few years back, frequent events at the Museum of T.V. and Radio aka The Paley Center, plus we constantly have...
Thanks, Heralde. I try. I've been making some small donations to what I can over the past few weeks. I just contributed to someone I know who is doing an MS walk in the near future.
OH I hope the Paley Center has some interesting events for the Sesame 40th anniversary! It seems in the past...
How much was it just out of curiosity. I would love to attend benefit dinners like this. I'm a big Mets fan (yeah I know lol) and saw they have one coming up as well to benefit various children's charities but again can't even think about going because of the cost.
I had the same issue with money when they had this Henson festival in Long Island a few years back. It was very hard to pick and choose what screenings but I agree with everyone here, the ones with Dave Goelz are a must, and I personally always liked the historical Muppet stuff from Jim's early...
I don't know his schedule but I can tell you, he has been making more and more appearances at these fan conventions. He was at the one this past weekend in Hollywood, he has done recent ones in Boston and NJ. Keep an eye out on the various movie convention sites, particularly ChillerTheatre.com...
I can't think of anyone better to be the head of ASCAP. I am a big Paul Williams fan not only through his work with the Muppets (though that was my first introduction) but his various other songwriting, and especially of the music and his role in the film Phantom of the Paradise.
I am so...
John Kricfalusi called me up back in the day when I first got in contact with him online. We had a great conversation about the college art courses I was taking at the time, and he gave me some pointers, etc. I didn't ask him to do any Ren voices. I was just shocked that he actually called when...
Exactly, Dr. Tooth. I'm sure it has nothing to do with George Lucas personally. Probably just some legal stuff delaying it. I don't think Lucas is embarrassed by that episode at all. They did a great job of it and it's not embarrassing to his characters at all.
I'm not saying he'd deny it but there might be some legal stuff involved that is delaying the process. I don't think they just call him up and say Can we put this on the DVD, Mr. Lucas? and he just says yes or no. I think there's probably some royalty stuff involved.
Yes it was on the Time...
I can almost guarantee the two reasons for the long delay in Season 4 coming out: either more red tape for music copyright licenses, or because the Star Wars episode is in this season and Lucas' company is delaying the process somehow.
Um, no. Facebook and Twitter.com are two totally different sites. Twitter is like texting online. You can only type out so many characters at a time, it's mostly for quick updates. You can't chat on it like you can on Facebook, etc.
I wish I would've read your post before I responded..I said pretty much the same thing. LOL I thought the index cards were a great, efficient way of getting the Q&A done
They did try to keep it short at the SS event, Foz. Michael Davis who was moderating did try to keep things moving but at the same time he didn't want to rush people along and be rude.
I also realized, and this is nobody's fault directly but as a hardcore Muppet fan (like many of us here...
