I didn't know about this cameo until I saw the movie either, and while I found it amusing, it was by far NOT the best part of the movie. My sister is a Big Bang Theory fan, and went hysterical, but if we're talking better/funnier cameos in the film, for me it was definitely Dave Grohl as Animal...
Hi, Muppet fans:
Wanted to know if folks here knew where to find sheet music for "He'll Make Me Happy" from Muppets Take Manhattan. I am hoping to have a live pianist play an instrumental version of it at my wedding ceremony as the bridal party walks in this fall. Any help is appreciated, if...
I'm living proof of that kind of sales market for VHS tapes back then. I own several tapes I paid close to $100 bucks for even later that: back in the early-mid 90s from my local video stores. ...
Which company put that one out? Was it Universal? If so, then yes, they DO put out a lot of great extras. I have their 2 disc set of Dracula and the whole second disc is chock full of stuff. But again, barely looked at it lol
I used to be excited about extra features, and really be into listening to the audio commentary, etc. but I guess for a severe lack of time these days, I'm lucky to have time to sit and watch a film on DVD, let alone hours of bonus extras. And some stuff I think is just "filler" to make people...
I don't recall if it was just for Blu-Ray solely, but they always push the Blu-Ray first. I tell you what really drives me nuts: is that Disney is famous for these 3 DVD sets, and sometimes that's the only way you can get the regular release is to buy the set, pay more money for 2 other discs...
It's a re-release of the film on Blu-Ray with the original ending where Seymour and Audrey get killed. Frank Oz discussed this and told me about it personally when I asked him to sign my Little Shop DVD at his recent appearance at the Museum of the Moving Image last October in NY.
Now that I think back on it, I think a Steve Whitmire one would be great. Aside from how he, like Kevin Clash started puppeteering as a child, but the guy's worked for Sid and Marty Krofft, he has done amazing volunteer work at Tippi Hedren's wildlife preserve Shambala, the list goes on and on.
She was all over the Sesame I grew up with in the mid 80s too. She was in a lot of the street storylines over the years.
I also vote for a big return for Prairie Dawn! Fran Brill is just too amazing a Muppeteer to only be doing Zoe as a main character. Prairie Dawn is also another character...
Wow, thanks for the names of the musical pieces. I may have to check that out as I get fascinated with instrumental scores used in film and T.V. and have to find them to listen to.
Hmm, I always loved Harvey Kneeslapper, I'd like to see more of Frazzle, Barkley, Benny was a GREAT Kevin Clash character, I loved when he used to make his two front teeth squeak when he was agitated lol
My sister and I always got a kick out of Oscar's dog Preposterous Puppy, speaking of Oscar...
Yeah, the original version of the Cee-Lo song is way funnier. I know they were intentionally hamming it up for certain scenes and while I agree it focused more on The Muppets in the second half, I just felt Segel really kind of overdid it regardless. I don't know, guess it's personal opinion...
Ok, finally saw it last night, so I can have an informed opinion. Didn't want to read too much on it and have things spoiled before I could have the chance to see it. I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't LOVE it, but I liked it very much, and it was a lot better than I...
Wow, I never knew Karen performed the voice of Unico either. I loved the Unico movies as a kid as freaky and disturbing as they were. Weird you mention this too, because the other day I was thinking out of the blue of the Unico films and was looking up some pics online.
I've had XM for several years now (since at least 2007). Caught some of the Muppet radio this morning on my way to work. Lot of songs from the original Muppet Movie, heard the song "Me Party" from the new film, a interview with Kermit and Miss Piggy and one of the hosts of Disney Kids' station...
Oh, see I didn't receive anything back yet, but I did respond over a weekend. So perhaps nobody was around to pick up the email yet. I had no idea they were coming back to NYC in December.
