LOL, but you got a great picture and a bruised knee out of it. :) The funny part was, when Jerry caught on that I was the one that pointed him out to you. He laughed and he said "You're still here holding down the fort?" since we had been perched by the stage door since 11 AM (and we weren't...
Oh, I wonder who the gentleman was who said hello to me then, thought it was you. Hmmm....I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't get what you paid for in regards to the after party. But I'm glad to hear they're doing the right thing and refunding you. I wondered about the party when I saw all...
Thanks and it was nice to say "Hi" to you. You had the red beard, right with the cab driver's cap? I saw you as we were going to our seats I think. What was the after party like?
I've heard it was not filmed because of some kind of union conflict, legal issues, etc. But a lot of people who snuck in filming have posted clips online already
Yesterday was an absolute dream to see this show. Not only did I get to see all the wonderful characters on stage, hearing those songs sung live was amazing. I was also lucky to have met many of the performers and Sesame cast after the show. After being a fan 34 years now, I am blessed to say I...
I really wish I could see the shows this time around, I saw they added a show to NYC on Sunday. Wish I could make it, but for anyone who's going to these for the first time, you're in for a treat, the Miskreant Puppet troupe does an amazing job!! I'm sure there will be fun new numbers added this...
I couldn't afford the benefit afterwards, so I guess my chances of meeting the cast members after the show will be slim to none now. :( But still very excited about the show. We are sitting in a box I think on the second or 3rd tier to the right of the stage if your'e facing it
I'm glad it's been a good season and that you are enjoying it, Dwayne. I have to admit, I'm not much of a reality show fan, though I've watched a few things here and there over the years. Last season though, I had more of a vested interest in the celebrities involved: I'm a big fan of Sinbad...
I watched last season, but have not yet watched this season. However, I was at the taping for the Unstrung episode coming up next week, so I'm excited to see how it turned out. I doubt you will see me in the audience, though, they stuck me in the upper right hand side from the stage.
I missed this, but I saw that one of the producers of Opie and Anthony got his picture with them and posted it on his Facebook. Apparently also Elmo and Cookie Monster were there too
The woman on the right is actress Jean Marsh, probably best known to folks here as Princess Mombi in Return to Oz from the mid 80s. Not sure who the man is.
Well I'm not naive enough to think the Muppets will ever be the way they were again as when Jim was alive. The world is different now, the entertainment industry is different now, etc. and honestly I think THAT is more in where my problem lies with current Muppet stuff. Because they are trying...
Yeah, I mean it's easy to say "Everything they've done since Jim died has sucked" cause that's far from the truth: I loved Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, Muppets Tonight while I didn't love it as a cohesive show week to week, I did enjoy some skits, characters and musical...
I think a lot of movies out there get the crap edited out of them for various reasons and some films end up suffering in the end because of it. The Muppets is no exception. I liked this movie a lot more than I expected, to, but I was not wowed and amazed by it like a lot of the fans were. Maybe...
