Your Thoughts: Jim Henson's Musical World at Carnegie Hall

I doubt it, according to recent interviews that are online with John Tartaglia who hosted and helped organize the last one, he said it was a very HUGE undertaking to get three companies involved to do it, plus next year I'm sure the folks at Disney are going to be busy promoting the next Muppets...

David Bowie uses JHCS puppets of himself

Thanks for posting. I was wondering if those were the same puppets from that video that never got made. I remember asking Bowie himself during a Yahoo chat years ago the background story of those puppets, etc. and he said that actually a video HAD been filmed for "The Pretty Things Are Going to...

The Dance Teacher that Made the kids do it again because he didn't like it...

Having taken dancing lessons as a child (ballet and jazz/tap) it's very common that dance instructors are no-nonsense types. Look at the movie "Fame" for example how tough all the teachers were, that's culled from real life. Anything in the performing arts, the teachers are strict as any kind of...

I've read that Jeff Dunham has used these new 3D printers to build some of his characters. I find the whole thing amazing.

Looking for a certain Christopher Reeve Segment. Please help.

No idea what episode, but I do know it was probably around after the 25th season as that's around the time I was still watching regularly, and I remember this segment. If I remember correctly, there was also a bit with Ernie and Christopher as well?

Down at Fraggle Rock: Behind The Scenes

That is awesome. Thanks for letting us know. I have a copy of this on tape, and while I never got big into Fraggle Rock although I admire the characters, this is a great behind the scenes special. I'm a little out of touch with Itunes purchases: do you happen to know if once you purchase...

That is AWESOME, Philip! I gotta check out ITunes more often (I'm not really a Itunes/Apple product owner), but between this, the classic Sesame episodes, etc. this is great! My sister used to go crazy over the dinosaur in Living with Dinosaurs lol I hope they add that!

The Christmas Toy Re-Release on 10/8/2013

I recently gave the last release of Xmas Toy to my cousin's children, because of the Kermit omission. I taped it off of Nickelodeon years ago WITH Kermit's scenes included, and recently transferred it to DVD. So I'd rather keep the real thing in a bit lesser video quality than the cleaner/edited...

    Whose autograph do you have?

Yeah, GopherCoffee's point was there's no regular Henson/Muppet fan mail address anymore. Yes you can reach some of them through the Sesame offices, but that's about it.

    Whose autograph do you have?

Yeah Brian's really nice to the fans. Did you enjoy Puppet Up? I LOVED the show when I saw it. I hope they bring it back to NYC again soon.

    Whose autograph do you have?

Congratulations, Chris, on meeting Brian Henson! Where did you see him? I've met him twice now, once at a live performance of Stuffed and Unstrung (aka Puppet Up!) and once at a taping for Celebrity Apprentice. He was very nice about taking a pic with me as well.

    Johnny Fiama

Brian Henson's been busy developing other projects with the Jim Henson Company, as opposed to Disney, and is also very actively involved with the touring company of the Puppet Up! aka Stuffed and Unstrung troupe of performers. I also believe he's involved with that new puppet game show in the UK....

    Johnny Fiama

I agree Johnny was a great character for Bill Barretta because he got to sing, and Bill brought such great traits to him as a character.

    Johnny Fiama

Ah, ok. Oh I didnt' realize Brian Henson is no longer involved at all. Well, then I guess he should be recast.

    Whose autograph do you have?

I'm more about getting photos with the performers these days rather than getting autographs, but out of the Muppet performers who's autographs I DO have: Steve Whitmire's, Carroll Spinney's, Jane Henson, Cheryl Henson, Kevin Clash, Jerry Nelson and my personal achievement: Frank Oz's seen in my...
