I think you may be """WAY!!!!""" to over protective!!!! But I agree that the Muppets have lost the wholesome flavor! The Muppets were originally created to entertain adults anyway... but, they still had a special life lesson for every age and were a bit more moral... Bottom line... Muppets are...
I help zoologist Jarod Miller and I've hanled the same python scene being held by Steve on the fox news web site (I'm holding it on the Racheal Ray Show coming up)... Wild animals are unpredictable! It is Dangerous and if you know what you're doing it's less dangerous... But it is never 100%...
Jerry,
Conan O'Brien went very well!!!! The Animals were very funny!!!! the Audience loved it! We did the Rachael Ray show too... that will air in late September or early October... Thanks again Jerry!!! You're the Best!!!!
I think Disney through the Deed to the Muppets into some closet, sometime two years ago, and today sadly are unaware that they even own the Muppets, or even know who or what, the Muppets are? let alone the "Muppet Babies!"
Anything before 1990 gives me tears!... It reminds me of when the Muppets were at there peak, and with their original performers, When the real heart and soul of the Muppets "Jim Henson" (God love him) was there to make sure they where funny, silly, clever, weird, wild, and appropriate... The...
Please check out my thread "Old School Henson Fans" In the "Henson people Forum!" Disney's disinterest and lack of enthusiasm is destroying the Muppets... AND IT MAKES ME SICK!!!! And it is a slap in the face... We got nothing for Kermits 50th Anniversary!!!! What load of junk that was!!!! What...
The point is, at this point the Henson Company wants to move on to other projects and they have little control if any with the Muppets now... The current group of puppeteers seem to lack leadership... Disney seems to doubt the Muppet brand... I'm livid over the fact that Kermits 50th was ignored...
That would have been great!!! Sadly Jim soon there after died and the Disney deal fell through... The Muppets kept changing hands and so on and so on....
Jim had the best of intentions... Unfortunately Disney needs to prove to all the Muppet fans that they are commited to the brand... The blow...
I don't think Disney really wants to ruin the Muppets.... Disney is a big corperation and The Muppets don't seem to be their focus... Jim Henson wanted disney to own the muppets so that the characters could continue and the Muppet legacy would live on (that is a good thing)... It bet it had...
It is not me picking on the Muppets trust me!!! I know the performers have to do the best with what they have!!! This is all about the non existant core! Jim Henson would take chances... Studios may have gotten a little nervous but!!!! Between the faith in Jim and the obvious love of somthing...
Thanks! Gee, I feel like Disney really droped the ball on Kermits 50th Anniversary!!
Disney is a chash cow in place of the glory and magic it once was pryor to the 70's... Now they seem to be doing a lot of damage to the Muppet brand that Jim Henson built!!! There seamd to be NO LEADERSHIP...
He everybody!!! I want to see the Muppets continue to grow and prosper!!!!
I always get misty when I watch old Muppet clips pryor to Jim's Death... I like the magic and the heart of those days!!! It just seems to be so different now!!! At least to me! In my own opinion!!! I respect others who...
Wow!!! I like the way this person thinks! People that reveal their inner monologue in this way are creative genus and are special!!!! I learned that on Mr Rogers!!!
-cheers-
