Oof. The more I look at that pic of Boober the worse it gets. Look at that left arm. It's broken in the middle, obciously collaged from two different poser pics, the shading on the upper arm is awful (the light is coming from below!) and it's attached too low on his body. And because the...
On Amazon, the complete box set is listed as having 22 discs. The most recent box set has 20 discs, 4 of episodes and 1 of episodes per season (as filmed). The animated series had 2 discs, 1 with episodes and 1 with a few more eps plus extras. So, the total number of discs remains the same...
Annie sue? Eh, she was never on the list of characters I looked forward to seeing. And the description they gave of Annie Sue sounds nothing like the character I remember from TMS.
It is interesting that they have Louise Gold back, though.
And now for the parting shot...
The Minstrel's Path
Part 30: The Outtake Reel
by Kim McFarland
*****
Chapter 1
['Jago' wanders about in a cave. The breezes blowing through the various tunnelets leading in make a chord. He is communing with the music. Then he begins investigating the...
Thanks, guys! Heh, the Keystone Firemen sequence actually wasn't in the outline; it's one of those things that happened between my fingers in the keyboard. When I plan out these stories I visualize things in my head, and occasionally scenes pop into existence from nowhere. I wonder if Marlon...
Huh. I couldn't post the whole story at once. Too long. Also, I had to trick the board software into letting me post the past participle of "dam". Go figure.

Word spread throughout Fraggle Rock that Boober wanted to be left alone. Of course, the only thing to do was to honor his...
I just finished up The Minstrel's Path, and, whew, that was a marathon of a fic. After something like that I needed to relax and write something silly. That's what this story is.
As for continuity...that's where it gets messy. It's set in the world of the animated Fraggle Rock series, which...
I'm kind of surprised that they're not making any sounds about releasing this on Blu-ray. That seems to be the way things are going. Of course, I can't see them releasing whole box sets in DVD/Blu-ray/digital/VHS/Betamax the way they do with stand-alone movies.
(Cue the inevitable rantfest...
Thanks, guys.
I wanted to post a "bearskin rug" photo, but, um, his back view is less photogenic than his front. Also, Fozzie wasn't available for the photo shoot.
There is an extra about Faz in one of the DVD sets which discussed his innovations in Fraggle Rock. Puppet mechanisms, Doozer vehicles, Gorg Vision, and so on. Wembley's name never came up, alas.
I'm guessing that they only built one Wembley with moving eyes, or maybe a few if the first puppet...
Interesting, but at that price point - $90.99 - I'm not quite convinced that I need this, considering that I have all that on DVD and don't need a plush keychain. I still want to know about the extras, and just what that graphic novel will me. A real GN, or a comic?
Also, I think that there...
Wembley's eyes can roll all around. He's the only Fraggle who can do that, the rest just have eyelid mechanisms if they have anything at all.
I don't have any concrete knowledge of how his eye mechanism works, so this is my educated guess: there's an electronic mechanism on the back of his...
Thanks, guys!
I had a request to post photos of the puppet without clothing so as to show the body shape and hair a little more clearly. Hah, so they say. We know what this is all about. Full Fraggle nudity! Which I heartily support, so...
Full Fraggle Nudity: Hey, look! His mouth...
Just 'cause he worked at Google doesn't mean he had a ton of money. In fact, they said he worked on Google Wave. Don't know what that is? I'm not surprised. That's how big a success it was.
He and Gonzo could have had a bidding war if Gonzo hadn't pushed the shiny, jolly, candy-like red button.
Who knows if Scooter inherited much from uncle JP? JP might have left his estate to his one true love: his business. After all, people don't make money, businesses do!
Hmm. Random thoughts here. Not going to post the most obvious choices 'cause, well, they're obvious.
Most Honest: Wembley. His moral compass is absolutely reliable.
Least Trustworthy: Convincing John. He's not bad, but he has the power to make anyone do anything, no matter how stupid, and...
