I thought this episode was not as good as the last two, but a little better than the pilot, I still liked it a lot though, what was missing for me was nothing was happening on Up Late With Miss Piggy, still enjoyed it though.
The Statler and Fozzie plot was hilarious.
No Rowlf, why
The songs...
Oh my gosh, so adults can not get drunk, wow, the muppets probably got drunk at some point "BEHIND THE SCENES" which is exactly what the point of the show is, if you're not happy with this then watch those disney junior muppet shorts that certainly do the muppets justice by making them another...
Ugh, the hate for this show is getting annoying. Oh no the muppets are drinking, they have not done that before.
The very image of an alcoholic beverage in something as innocent as the muppets would be atrocious.
After Sesame Street, Jim Henson began to delvelope a series that would...
I mean all networks care about ratings, but if a network didn't care about ratings, they would probably cancel shows that have been getting bad reception, and stuff, I really do not know that much.
I mean everyone's got their own opinion, but Seinfeld was hated until like season 3, Mash wasn't well recieved in season 1, I am just saying to wait more than the first few episodes to judge the show, after like the first 10 you do not like the show, then I guess its your opinion, but TMS wasn't...
I am not against TMS, it is one of my favrorite shows of all time, why else would I pay like 20 bucks for a season set, but I am just saying I would rather have more moments like this.
Then something like this.
I am not against the songs sung by recognizable muppets or the guest stars...
Character: Johnny Fiama
Scene: Lew Zealand and Fozzie planning a fish comedy act.
Storyline: Fozzie loses a lot of money playing poker with celebrities at Jerry Seinfeld's house, Kermit realizes little changes in him (his fur is dirtier, he sold his hat and tie). Fozzie says everything is...
I can't see anyone wanting to make a new movie or TV show out of something that has failed, I'm sorry, but if this show does not succed, I doubt that Disney will put in time and effort into new muppet projects.
Actually, The Muppets easily beat the Flash in the ratings (1.7 vs 1.4), so I doubt it has to do with that. Every show has substantial drops in the weeks following its premiere, look at The Goldbergs, week 1: 3.1, week 2: 2.2, week 3: 1.9, following that the show stabilized, and got renewed. I...
The plot is the gang has an epic night out when they run into Ed Helms at Rowlf's Tavern and they all perform their favorite karaoke jams, but Kermit is not pleased when no one shows up to work the next day. Meanwhile, Fozzie has an unfortunate accident during the show. Sounds cool, I wonder...
Vieweship means virtually nothing to the network, its the demo that matters, and the muppets started out very strong with a 2.9, week 2 saw a large decline to a 2.0 which is still a very good rating, this week it got a 1.7, and if it stays in this range then it will be fine, Fresh off the Boat...
Ya, not too good, but luckily the muppets adjusted up in the final ratings to a 1.7/6 http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/10/07/tuesday-final-ratings-oct-6-2015/477169/
So its really 1.7 not 1.6, still a little disappointing, but it is still pretty good for a Tuesday, hopefully it can stay in...
This episode was really great, much better than the pilot, I'm glad they did not end up going with the typical, charater 1 trys to tell character 2 they are bad at something, but character 2 is so nice to them that character 1 can never say that, instead Kermit went and told Fozzie his material...
I like how that characters on this show are really being fleshed out, I mean let's be honest, the secondary muppet characters have never really been given much to do, and even on TMS besides Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Rowlf, Floyd, and Sam were fleshed out characters, everyone else...
Overall, I think this was a great improvement on the pilot which was good, but not great, if the pilot was MTM, then this was TMM, everythiing about the pilot was reallly great, and hilarious, my only problem is no Rowlf, who I hope gets to be in the next episode. From the main plot to Fozzie's...
