I really am fine with the show as it is, but it seems like someone who had worked on Galavant would be a better fit with the muppets, hopefully those nitpickers are satisfied with the retooling, and it becomes the hit it should have been in the first place.
Overall, I liked this episode, better than the last one. The whole Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Denise plot was really well done, and I like how Miss Piggy did not just give Kermit a really bad gift, I expected that was how it would play out, but happy they went a different path. The Electric Mayhem...
Most likely we will, the latest episode saw an uptick in the ratings, 1.4 verus the 1.3 it got the last episode, which is probably the reason it got more episodes. Now if the show stabalizes around the 1.4-1.6 range it will easily be renewed. The next episode might pull bigger numbers, because...
Well even with the world series, ratings were up 9% for the muppets. It got a 1.4 up from last week's 1.3, this is a sigh of relief, because I really expected it to drop, and face cancellation, hopefully this upward trend continues, better for the muppets being on par with the rest of the...
It was a good episode, but a pretty weak one, probably my least favorite, but still was enjoyable. The Miss Piggy and Reese Witherspoon plot was good, but nothing special. I liked the Fozzie plot, and its cool that we got to see one of his performances. The Scooter and Rizzo plot was good, but I...
It would be better than nothing, and with it going against the World Series tonight, ratings might be hard to look, hopefully not though, and it rebounds from the previous low rated episode, but I do not want to be too optimistic right now.
I don't if anyone has said this yet, but the muppets are capped at 13 episodes similar to How To Get Away With Murder, the producers are only making 13 so even if the ratings were huge, there would still be the same amount of episodes, probably because it is hard to make an episode of this.
If the ratings sink more they might renew it for a season 2 on Fridays probably, hopefully this episode the ratings go up to like a 1.5 or at least not drop and stay the same, I hope it does not fall to lower ratings.
Looks pretty true to the original specials, though that may be its one flaw, that by trying to be so much like the classics it seems like we are getting the same stuff in a different format, whtaever still better than Smurfs or Alvin or something, really doesn't go all hip and modern, this might...
It's not in much danger at the moment, Fresh off the Boat got a 1.3 before, its just that people expected 3.0s every week for a high profile property like the muppets, I have heard mostly positive reviews for this episode online compared to the other episodes which were mostly really mixed, the...
Ya, how about Kermit being really mean to Gonzo in season 1 and the Paul Simon episode, he really emphasized how much he though his act was terrible and criticized him, and about the Zoot joke from episode 2, there was a much dirtier joke in oh so kid friendly TM'11
Miss Piggy: I don't think...
Of course it was trying to be MT, but a hip revamped version with a cool host, but it was all over the place trying to be TMS, a sitcom, a variety show, it did not know what to be, only at the end did it find a nice sitcom structure like Andie Macdowell and Johnny Fiama Leaves Home episodes were...
Here's a good ratings comparison for the muppets
The Goldbergs went from 3.1 to 2.2 to 1.9 to 1.6, similar to the muppets, the fifth episode went up, let's hope the muppets does the same.
2.9 to 2.0 to 1.7 to 1.3 is not good, huge declines, the timeslot thing is irrevelant to the fact that it lost more than 50% of its audience in four episodes, it still has a chance, if it goes up, but below a 1.2, and it is dead meat, sadly.
Oh no.

The Muppets is entering the danger zone, any lower than this, well I can not see it being renewed.
