Ru: (in a stage whisper) He's talking about me. My typing fingers go faster than my brain. In fact, I actually turned in a paper recently where I referenced an origami website that was supposed to feature "Paper Airplanes and Boats" and I typed--you guessed it--"Paper Airplanes and Boars."...
An interesting take on the frog/pig relationship, and I can see the guys annoying the snot out of Kermit just for the heck of it, especially when it concerns his weakness for Miss Piggy.
Two things: proper usage is "had no qualms," not "held no qualms"
The term is "deep-seated," not...
Whew! Finally caught up!
I like the peeks of genuine intellect from Sweetums. One always suspects that every muppet has more going on behind the surface than you actually see. I really FELT for Sweetums when both Rhonda and Newsie were pestering him--pesties, indeed!
I like that Deadly has...
Okay--the part about the goldfish is the sort of thing that happens backstage at The Muppet Show all the time--it just usually happens to Kermit or Fozzie. Nice to see it happening again, and to someone else! (Although I don't really see Scooter as the fish-owning type--he strikes me as the...
Chapter 116: Foreboding
“Are you thinkin’ what I’m thinkin’?” Rizzo asked Gonzo before he thought better of it.
“Probably,” said Gonzo. “But I don’t think they’re gonna let us use the fire truck.”
Rizzo stared, opened his mouth to speak, then...
I absolutely do! Here's the text for #11.
#11 The Shortcut: Kermit lovingly polished the face of his precious watch with his handkerchief. He still did not have a present for Miss Piggy, and time was running out. "I think I'll try that new story, Della's Boutique," he said to himself. To save...
I need to catch up with someone who owns this big advent calendar, because the one I found is missing book 24. If you have it, will you "conversate" me, please? I need some help!

Glad to see you've joined us, dearie. We are always happy to have another writer. Here's my two cents worth, and some of it you've heard already from others here.
You need to SHOW us MORE and TELL us LESS. I don't mind long sentences, per se (no comments from the peanut gallery!), but you...
WARNING: Ush-gush ahead. Another "snippet" story while I wrestle KG back onto the table....
Warily, Piggy circled the room, careful to keep the furniture between them.
“Come on, Piggy,” Kermit said firmly. “You can’t run forever—especially in those heels!”
Piggy flashed him a look of disdain...
Oh! How very charming! (And won't Fozzie be THRILLED to find that he terrifies someone!) You know I've been head-down in papers and couldn't keep up as this went along but what a great start to my holiday! Yay! (Waves arms wildly above head)
You know, when I saw the sheep eating things...
Just for clarification, I did NOT make up that Piggy calls her ring BK, which stands for Before Kermit, but I could not tell you this moment where I first heard that. I will ponder and let you know what I remember!
Speaking for myself, I don't mind an OC coming in and giving somebody the snuggles. I also don't usually mind pair-ups between known characters, although some of those push the limits of credibility. But what I want to see, truly, at the heart of every story is some genuine emotion and...
Sleep-read this last night and finally read it again today. A very thoughtful treatment of a disappointing problem. I liked that no one really just blew Newsie off as though his concerns were not important, and that everyone was concerned about this happening. A sweet story--hoping to see more.
Wow. Not where I was expecting this to go. I assumed that Piggy was going to, um, go to a bank and find a donor. I didn't think she'd want to miss out on having a baby with her genetics, but I do realize that's not always possible. Adoption is a wonderful option for someone who wants to open...
Awwww. So glad you are enjoying. It is getting a bit on the long side. (I think I passed up The Da Vinci Code word count some months ago.) Be sure and check out the Fanfic Library Index to find a list of everybody's stuff.
Welcome, welcome! Please post your own when you can!
(Sorry...
Ru: Ed! You are the man! Woo-hoo! Whup! Whup! Whup!
Rizzo: What's she doing--helicoptor sounds?
Gonzo: Beats me. (murmuring) She seems excited. What's the deal?
Rizzo: Ed got mentioned on the Blu-Ray by the script writers! They know he knows more than ANYONE about muppetdom!
Gonzo...
Some really lovely turns of phrase, dear. And a Kermit who apologizes! I'm FOR it. Just hoping Piggy gets to be good to him a little later on. He's really suffering thinking of her in someone else's arms.
What a great description of the Kermit I know and love, Toga. I find this interpretation of Kermit very charming, because it explains soooo effectively why he can't seem to get his act together about Piggy. It's the perfect catch 22--He wants her but he won't admit it and can't ignore it...
