Stuart, your art is very beautiful and it is just that--art. I'm so glad you are continuing. But I want to say very sincerely to you that I don't see a great resemblance between what you have done and what Disney has done. The idea of the muppets in the theater seats to see their new movie is...
Don't know how I missed this but WOW. It actually took me a while to realize that the kids were doing their own singing--that it wasn't a recording. So that was fab. And I love the imaginative costuming and minimalist sets. Even the choreography was cute. Good job, guys!

These were nicely done and interesting. Almost all of them were strong depictions, except Piggy who is just too pale, too sedate and does NOT have her fabulous baby blues. Aside from my Piggy fangirl comments, kudos to Eric Dye for his nice...
Well, I have it on good authority that Robin and Nancy have their ups and downs, "butting heads" so to speak. True love never sails smoothly, I suppose. (Imagine what un-true love must be like! Yeesh!) Your wish is my command, dear.

Little bread-and-butterflies kiss the tulips...
Oooh! I'm in Countie's story! And I get to sew for muppets! Wheeee!
Some lovely puns and references in here, dear--"horror d'euver platters," fried worms (How to eat Fried Worms is one of the best books ever), and " one perfect geist." Hubby and I have buttons for Halloween that say...
Welcome to the fanfic "guild"! I will now induct you with the mantra of the fanfic board members: More, more, more!
(Feel free to share the mantra with other authors whose stories are lagging behind....)
Auntie Ru
Aw, thanks floyd<3janice. I'll try to get over and read your story this week. More of KG coming up...NOW! (waves arms wildly over head)
Chapter 119: When the Other Shoe Dropped
The first shoe didn’t even wake him, but when the other shoe dropped, Scribbler woke up. Startled, he...
Actually, luxury items sales are up. Just saying.... Things are rough all over but this still needs to be explored. Once we got a dollar figure on prices, people could work toward it, or start saving for the next one. (Said the lady with two-and-a-half-jobs and too much month left at the end...
Am I an old folk or a new folk? I've been on about six years, and remember MopFam and the dorms. It's been great and I look forward to more, more, more!
Thank you for the birthday wishes! Kermit's Girl is, indeed, six years old today! Er, yesterday! I am not quite done with the next post, but I am almost done with the post after that! And I'm almost (one-half paper away!) done with my first and next-to-last semester at school! And I got a...
Oh. I'm so sorry to see that Ethel passed away. I thought she might come out of this story still kicking. At least Gina is coming to comfort him. Newsie--so sorry for your loss, Sweetie.
I've worked with a lot of lawyers over the years, but allow me to say that the "Bland of Brothers"...
Ru: You know, I never really gave this fic the review that it deserves, so I want to try to rectify that now.
Rizzo: Rectify? She's gonna wreck her review? Why's she gonna do that?
Gonzo: No, silly. She's going to fix her review.
Rizzo: She might have just said so.
Gonzo: She just did.
Rizzo...
Chapter 118: The Curious Incident of the Badger and the Lo Mein
The next couple of days saw everybody busy about their own business—or other people’s. Kermit and Scooter put the desert scene to bed and Scooter meticulously copied their next segment before dropping it off at the...
OMGosh, Ed! You're...(gasp!) mortal! Eeeeee! hahahaha No penalty, no foul, Sweetie--you've saved me from far more than you've cost me!
That said, I do have some thoughts on all that's been posted.
Ch 116.
1 Gonzo certainly has the role of Mr. Cellophane perfected. He needs to do...
Chapter 117: Elucidation.
"Zat you?" asked Dr. Teeth, more in jest than in earnest. The only parts of his band-mate which were truly recognizable were Floyd's ten little freckled toes protruding from the folds of a beach towel. Floyd was wrapped in one of the cruise ship's fluffy white robes...
This is a wonderful story by our wonderful muppet friend Layla, who is not much on the boards anymore. But I would love to have her update this any time she feels like coming back on!
The art is "okay." The story is "okay." I think they could have done better to manipulate the story to the characters than the characters to the story. One of my favorite versions of this story is the Sesame Street version. Ernie trades his Rubber Duckie to Mr. Hooper to buy Bert a cool...
*sigh* I am apparently the lone dissenting voice, but I am going to dissent, and my dissent goes something like this:
Why on earth would you need to kill someone? If it takes a jolt like that to jump-start your story, maybe you should write something different.
Killing off a...
Last muffin--I promise. Some of my best writing actually occurs when I am in a somnambulistic state somewhere between awake and asleep. This usually means that I'm just aching to write and have been too slammed by my impossible schedule to do much, so I'm attempting to stay up late and get...
