(Kermit is sitting on a brick wall. There is also a number 1 on the wall)
Kermit: Hi ho, Kermit the Frog here, and today I am going to talk to you about the number 1. Now, this is a 1. It is just one line, and should not be confused with an I or a lower-case l. And I only have one 1 with me...
Does anybody know when the orange live-hand anything muppet whose head resembles Ernie's was introduced? Could he have been introduced after Jim Henson died (perhaps turning the Ernie puppet into an anything muppet)?
The earliest that I know of is 1993. That was the year that Sing-Along...
I've noticed that in The Frog Prince that soem of the peaseants have weird movements. Some of their mouths look odd, as if they were radio-controled, while some seem to move naturally. And some of them looked a bit stiff.
Does anybody know how the peaseants were performed?
I remember seeing an episode a long time ago where Biff got a bowling ball stuck to his thumb. I don't ever remember seeing the beginning of the episode, but throughout this episode there was a woman who was with Biff. I am wondering, was this woman Biff's girlfriend, or could she have even been...
It was a very exciting day for the Muppets. Dr. Bunsen Honeydew had invented a "Magical Plane", which could automatically send people to where they wanted to go without a pilot. A big crowd was outside for the first flight.
"Good day, everybody", said Bunsen, "As you know, I have perfected...
I have thought about this for awhile. What if PBS aired a five-part Sesame Street documentary, with each part lasting an hour, and then the entire miniseries was released on DVD, uncut, in a three-disc set?
Here is what each part could focus on:
Part 1: Focusing on the beginning history...
What sketches do you hope are included on the upcomming DVD "Ready for School"?
Here is my wishlist:
The First Day of School
Sesame Street News: The First School Day in History
Cheerleaders cheer about the letter K
Roosevelt Franklin teaches his students about poision
Ernie's Show...
The Muppets were getting ready for a free, all-expenses-paid cruise. Kermit was talking to the man who arranged for their cruise, I.M. Millionaire.
"I am very thankful that you invited all of us Muppets to use your boat", said Kermit.
"Oh, and I am so pleased to have you all on my boat...
(A clip montage of Rowlf moments play over audio of Rowlf performing Cottleson Pie. After the song ends, a special logo, reading "A Celebration of Rowlf" and featuring Rowlf's head inside the "O" in "of appears)
Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time for "A Celebration of Rowlf", the first...
A long time ago, one of my friends let me borrow a few CDs of songs that he had downloaded. One featured Cheech and Chong songs and comedy routines. There was one Sesame Street parody listed as being performed by Cheech and Chong, but now that I think of it, I think that whatever downloading...
In The Great Mupet Caper, when the crates that Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo were in hit the water, were the puppets radio controled, or were the performers underneath them in a situation similar to The Rainbow Connection from The Muppet Movie, or was it a little bit of both? I noticed in the ride...
Has anybody ever noticed that there have been quite a few minor Muppet characters who talk a lot (whenever they do appear), but don't have any consistent performers, yet there are also a lot of characters who are normally quiet, and their performers are pretty much consistent (at least if the...
(the regular Elmo's World opening begins)
Elmo: La la, la la, la la, la la, Elmo's World. La la la la, la la, la la, Elmo's World. Elmo loves his goldfish, his crayons too! That's Elmo's World. Hi, this is -- da da da da! -- Elmo's World. Elmo is very happy to see you today. And so is Dorthy...
In Sherlock Hemlock's first sketch, he ate half of Ernie's sandwhich. Ernie didn't seem to get to angry that Sherlock ate half of his sandwhich. It seems like he was more concerned with knowing who ate half his sandwhich. Of course, Ernie doesn't seem to get angry very often. However, what if...
(Harvey Kneeslapper is in a western salloon, sawing part of a chair and then laughing)
Patron #1: What are you laughing at?
Patron #2: Yeah!
Harvey Kneeslapper: Oh, I just cut part of the chair legs (laughs more as they walk over to the bar). So when somebody comes to sit in that chair...
Throughout the 1980s, Jim Henson worked on behind-the-scenes specials for many of his productions (TMS, FR, TDC, L), and there were also behind-the-scenes books for his productions, but I wonder why he never worked on any behind-the-scenes specials for the first three Muppet movies, or even...
Announcer: It's now time to play.... ("What's My Part?" logo is shown) "What's My Part?" (fanfare music plays as auddience applauds) And here's your host, Guy Smiley!
(Audience cheers as Guy Smiley enters)
Guy Smiley: Welcome, welcome! I am Guy Smiley, and this is "What's My Part?" And here...
Wouldn't it be great if there was a Sesame Street Fest, similar to Muppetfest? How would you want it to be done? I had planed on making a fake report of this on April Fools Day, but then forgot. But here's what I would like to have happen:
It would be a three-day thing, on a friday night and...
The Muppets Take Manhatan DVD includes interviews with Jim Henson. Obviously, they are all from the same production (or at least produced at the same time), but does anybody know what this interview was shot for? Was it filmed for Henson's Place? Was it an interview for a talk show or...
In the A&E Biography special on Sesame Street, there are two behind-the-scenes clips for segments from the 1980s. One is from the sketch where Ernie dresses up a snowman using Bert's hat and scarf, and ht eother is from the skit where Grover works at a mexican resturaunt. Since those two skits...
