Is that where Artie Esposito as Kermit originated, or was he just a backup from the start? I actually found something featuring him performing Kermit just today (, was uploaded in February) and was wondering how Artie got involved.
A company like Disney wouldn't have him commute for this long, and then abruptly decide that it's not worth the effort.. not a wise business choice; they would've axed him sooner, or not at all; at least, that's what I think, you could be right, who knows?
Has Steve ever butted heads with...
Beyond upset hearing this; truthfully, I haven't liked how Disney has treated The Muppets for years, bordering since after the 2011 film, but this is beyond ridiculous.. any respect I had for the company as a whole is gone; recasting such a core performer is absolutely insane, not to mention the...
Thanks for the info :) Didn't even know AVON distrubuted the movie; perhaps they sold it through their magazine for subscribers before the retail tape? Who knows, lol.
Seems to be very little to no info about this version on the web, still gonna attempt to pick it up.
It's likely it'll be like "I AM BIG BIRD", where it'll get an eventual public release; really excited for Oz be doing something Muppet related.. as far as I'm concerned, he should be the one frontrunning future Muppet projects, instead of Disney just doing as they please.
Should've explained more clearly, lol.
It's not as strange to me as it is intriguing.. I own 2 different copies of EIG on tape (long story on why, not intentional), one without label, an one with label.. and neither of them have that label in the picture. It looks incredibly unprofessional...
Wish this had been just ONE week later, lol. Currently compiling a VHS of celebrity appearances that are of value to me (so mostly just Muppets, Vanessa Hudgens, voice actors and Paul Reubens lol) and all that I have coming up is an appearance by Vanessa Hudgens (on Jimmy Kimmel), lol. ANYWAY...
Maybe they could release solely the street stories, or maybe a set with Bert and Ernie segments, etc? Like split the episodes up onto DVD sets, I don't know.
Just got a VCR 2 days ago, recording some Elmo's World stuff at the moment (big fan of EW, DVDs have edits; list of planned recordings...
Little bit of a sillier question, does anyone have a WIDESCREEN copy of Elmo in Grouchland? Used to have a MP4 taken from the Region 2 DVD, but I seem to have lost it.. any help would be wonderful :D
I don't think instrumental versions were ever made available to the piblic...
Does anyone have rips of all the Fraggle Rock songs from the DVDs? I feel like I remember SesameFever saying that, not sure though.
I haven't really been watching a lot of Sesame in a while, but hearing about this doesn't just upset, it turns me off from the future of Sesame as a whole, honestly. I didn't like the 30 hour block at first, but I got used to it. I didnt like the retooling all that much. but whatever, I let it...
Little late to be discussing this, but Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip was terrible. I saw it theatrically, and gave it a pass, but after re-viewing it on DVD, it's just so bad. Better than Chipwrecked (please kill these puns), but still bad. If it was like the first one (which I think is...
Glad to hear about this, Dave totally deserves it.
I'm in New Jersey, but there's a small chance I could go. It's 6 days before my birthday, so that makes it a bit more likely.
Does anyone have a MP3 of any of the Sesame Street Storytime tapes featuring Cookie? Would love to test him out. Also, sorry about my terribly messy room.
I know it's bad, but I'm trying to improve it, and I feel like it's slowly improving, which makes me happy. Any criticism, compliments and such are greatly appreciated :coy:
Also, sorry my mic clips so easily.
