SHoot!! Phooey!!! I just broke my Muppet Figure today. I kept smashing it with a hammer and throwing it down a flight of stairs, and it shattered into a million pieces!!!
What am I supposed to do! I live in an orange shaped building and I have to smash things with a hammer to anchor them...
Not really a Muppet thing, but I just want to bring it up.
Does anyone remember an old cartoon sketch in which a gross green (according to my sister) cat is waiting outside a mouse hole and instead of a mouse, a ringing telphone pops out?
The cat chases the phone, and when it rings she...
Since we have so many custom figures, I only find it fitting that we set up a contest for best custom figure. We have points fo originality, coolness, stuff like that. Someone should be so kind to offer a prize (I can't think of anything, but a scuffed Underdog bobbing head, but I don't want...
I don't know what to call it. It's this little store in Coolidge corner. I wnet a month and a half ago, or something, and last time I was there, they had all these Dinosaurs (McDonalds) toys there. I found a McD's Piggy (MTI) and several Sesame Street figures, allong with old Ninja Turtles...
Here's another poll. What is your favorite...you read the title, you get the idea.
Note. You can choose any Band from the Henson Cannon: Rowlf, The Electric Mayheim, the Jug band, Emmitt Otter's Jug band, Little Jerry and the Monotones, Little Chrissy and the Alpha-beats, Polly Darton...
Here's a little poll, what do you think the worst Muppet Merchandise ever is, was, or am?
My opinion, it would be as follows:
Disneyworld Kermit Bean Bag (with classic, dying, screaming Kermit pose)
Fozzie Pillow (with classic, dying, screaming Fozzie pose)
Miss Piggy's Wedding video...
Since today (or yesterday or when ever, depending on when you read this) is Jerry's Birthday, I'm going to rehash the Richard Hunt question.
For Me, I'd say, Sherlock Hemlock, Mumford, Herry, Biff, and Count on Sesame Street, Crazy Harry, Lew Zeland, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Louis Kazzager, STatler...
Let's face it. Ernie has gotten huge portions of popularity lately (almost dethrowning Elmo's stay). This year, "Journey to Ernie" has been aired on Sesame. Each episdoe of this segment ends with an Ernie sketch. Though some of them ae classics, featuring Bert (and some new ones), they are...
I was watching Everybody Loves Raymond last night, and I saw a commercial for a Disney's The Country Bears Happy Meal giveaway. For those of you who don't know, Country Bears is a Movie based on the Amusment park ride, with Animatronics by Henson's Creature Shop. This is the only merchandise...
Since I have never seen a special entirely devoted to the Fraggles themselves (I know there is one, I just never saw it is all), so Here's some appearances that Fraggles make in Muppet specials.
The Muppets at Walt Disney World No Fraggles here, but in the Dog Kennel scene (With Rowlf...
Okay, you're probably asking why I saw the Powerpuff Girls movie. I like the show, it was a bargain seat ($4.50 vs 9.00), and I didn't want to see Scooby Doo.
But anyway, I saw this movie wednsday, and there was this one scene where the girls are alone, outside watching TV through a store...
I know a lot of people here hate, dislike, or rather liked the cartoon Fraggle Rock. I also know that somehow, there was some reason that the actual puppeteers can't do their voices. But what I want to know is this:
Who voiced who in the cartoon Fraggle Rock? I've searched the internet for...
Muppet Atari games on the web!!
For those of you who have heard of Pigs in Spce and Miss Piggy's wedding on Atari, now you can play them on your computer! go to www.atariage.com , download a stella emulator, then go to the 2600 archives and you'll find Pigs in Space, and Miss Piggy's wedding...
The fantasy series 6- 10 post got me to thinking (and Lord it hurt) why just stop at action figures. What other Muppet stuff would you like to see hit stores?
Bobbing heads are very big right now. I saw whole shelfs devoted to them at several stores. My question is why not make Muppet...
Yes! It's true. I may be the last one here to get an Muppet action figure of any kind, but I did it! It's just the main stream, nonrepaint version, but I love it just the same. I was short on cash recently, so I couldn't get one for a while. The last of my Birthday money I spent was on an...
Dog city coloring book. If anyone has an extra copy, or knows where I can find one. A dirty, colored in, disheveled one will do. No need for mint condition.
Dog City, Jim Henson Hour special. If you can find this, and you can make a copy, I'll pay the cost of the tape, postage, and time...
Under normal circumstances, this should be under merchandise. But my question is not about the game itself, but the Muppeteers that voice the characters.
I hear that Bill Barretta (once again, forgive bad spelling if it is spelled wrong) was great as Rowlf the dog, and he is performed by...
If you can tell by my title...uh...I did! It's the Bullwinkle Puppet that was used to introduce the show when it was on NBC. It was deleted because the puppet said that the knobs on the TV would come off if you pull them off. And the kids did it! I swear...
Anyway, I had to chage it...
Man. When I come to the puppetry board, everyone talks of putting fleece and wigs and mouth plates. The best I could do was sock Puppets for a short school video (I'd give someone a copy, but it's practically rated X, R at the least). I wish I had time to do that stuff!
