Oooh! Another fantastic, scary episode last night with characters set up well and really British Russians!

YES! Finally! This episode was just brilliant. Nice emotional pacing, dramatic singing, weird looking aliens and alien suns, something for the Doctor to do rather than just the companion AND new depth and unique-ness for Clara! I love her connection to children and curiosity!

That was a brilliant bit! I loved that they really got into the spirit and even had occasional-Fraggle-quotes, Turkish commentators and a ridiculous News Roundup!

Well...As usual, I'm afraid I felt like I'd been in a tumble-dryer by the time the episode ended. Every time anything interesting or exciting started happening, they cut away to something else. Stop trying to fit block-buster movies into an hour, bullet-point style for goodness sake please...
