Man, am I the only person who really loved MirrorMask? I thought it was great, and beautiful, and had a really interesting plot.

Really? I remember being blown away by the surreal world that they managed to make in MirrorMask, by the artistry and detail of the CG in tandem with some great costuming... It was the first Henson fantasy I watched, and it floored me.

Splinter was some sort of puppet, I think, but the Turtles were animatronic suits, the precursors of the kind used in Dinosaurs. And remember: the "real" Turtles killed the live action franchise with TMNT III and Next Mutation (yeah, I know that wasn't Henson, but it was "real" turtles.).

I think that it looks good. I would like a live action one more, but the real people (April, Casey Jones) are too old now, so I can see why they did it. I think it looks good, and I'm going to see it on opening day.

Yeah, it was- TMP had 45+ million and TWOK only had 12 million. Of course, for quite a few of the ship shots, they used stock footage from the first one.
