On the 1978 album, "Fair Is Fair", Farley sang "The No Song" with Oscar (Not the same "No Song" that Maria and Gina sang on the show). Anyone remember this one?
Thanks, Ziffel. New Orleans just seems so post-apocalyptic, but it will work out.
I said where I didn't want to be, but I didn't really say where I'd like to be, so let's see...
Well I'd like to visit the moon...
on a rocket ship high in the air.
Yes, I'd like to visit the moon...
but I...
That was just an analogy. It also comes down to where the line should be drawn (and it does have to be drawn somewhere). Personally, I don't think Abiraniriba's post crossed that line, but that's just my opinion.
I guess it all depends on whether you consider human biology to be inappropriate for a family board.
There was a time when showing Maria pregnant on Sesame Street would have been considered inappropriate.
In another thread, I said it was a shame that Herbert Birdsfoot was excluded from the Sesame Street Unpaved book, yet it's even more of a shame that Prof. Hasting was included, but with a picture of Dr. Nobel Price! I'll never understand how they made such a mistake. Prof. Hastings and Dr...
They made sure that Herbert Birdsfoot would stay mysterious to those too young to remember him by not including him in the Sesame Street Unpaved book. He really was conspicuously absent from it, which I never could figure out. Granted, he wasn't the most popular muppet on the show, but he was...
Personally, I love Daylights Saving Time and extending it is the first thing I've ever agreed with this Administration on. LOL
I've always thought it was more pleasant to have longer daylight hours and less gloomy. Maybe it's because I'm not a morning person. I know that it's important for...
Heck, I signed it. The spelling errors just make a stronger case that adults need to watch Sesame Street. LOL
Seriously, I just went to sign it, but had forgotten that my name was already there from several months ago. I didn't leave any comment then, but I was going to write that Classic...
On a side note, I don't think Bert could handle both Telly and Ernie in his life.
Imagine Telly visiting them one day while Bert is reading and Ernie is playing with his Rubber Ducky:
Bert: Ernie, will you stop squeaking that duck! I can't read my book about pigeons when you do...
But, the question was who specifically invented the message board forum of the internet, not the internet itself.
I still think it was Intelligent Design. ;)
I'm just saying that if there was a second take, it must have been agreed that Bert would remain silent while Telly spoke.
An ad-lib would have been something that Marty Robinson just threw in during the first take and was left in.
It may have been Marty Robinson's idea, but if they did the take over because the first one was awkward, they must have had a plan that Telly would speak and Bert would not. Otherwise, there would have been no reason to redo it.
