Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Max 300 by Omega AKA Naoki Maeda. It'd be mostly Animal on the drums, with Floyd and Lips playing stings and small bits of melody. They could tear this up. Or possibly it would tear them up.
Actually, after I gave out Halloween candy with my Mokey puppet, I got to thinking how I'd like to make a Count von Count puppet. His design is not that complex, so I think I could do a decent job.
Some time ago I saw a puppetry website which had a lot of color-shirted Muppet replicas...
Thanks for the official word on the subject, Ed. Hopefully this will head off future issues of this kind.
My own thought on including songs in fics: it's nice to include acknowledgment of the source. I always do this in my copyright notices. Because another word for copying other people's...
Lately a lot of songfics have been posted here. I'm using the term "songfic" very loosely, as songfics are usually fics alternating prose sections with song lyrics. These are not highly regarded for the same reason as original characters.
I can understand including songs within fanfiction...
Heh, good thought, but I think Scooter wants to keep it low-key. Dr. Teeth is not exactly known for subtlety. But, yeah, he just might be able to recommend some jewelers.

Part 3: This Is Not My Beautiful Wife
By Kim McFarland
*****
It was Tuesday morning. Muppets would soon be at the theater if they weren't there already, working on acts for the upcoming weekend. Scooter, his eyes unfocused by sleep, checked his phone. There were no...
I normally wear denim, Reeboks, and more denim. I'm not a femme. So, I joke that dressing up all professional and ladylike is, for me, drag. I felt like Corporal Klinger.
Hmm. I expected gender confusion when I performed Rocky Horror. I'd do a show as Frank, and then after the show when people heard my real voice they'd exclaim "You're a woman?!" That was a compliment, because it showed I'd pulled the illusion off. However, when people blurt out things like this...
Today, even though there was no Halloween-ness in the office I went in costume:
I normally wear jeans and sneakers, but today I outdressed most of the attorneys! A lot of people asked me if I had an interview.
Tonight I'm waiting for trick-or-treaters. I've got a box of mini chocolate...
I celebrated Halloween at work by dressing up, even though we're not celebrating Halloween here. Normally I wear jeans and sneakers to work; today I got into one of my snazzy work ensembles--blue suit with skirt, pumps, pantyhose, makeup, hair up, even a pearl necklace. So, yeah, I dressed in...
Thanks, Count! Yeah, I've been developing my Muppet/Fraggle continuity for a while, including the reopening of the Muppet Theater and revival of The Muppet Show, the lives of the Fraggles, and various character threads. Scooter and Janken have been together since my fic Masks, which was...
Huh? I wonder how I got it into my head that his last name is spelled "Zeeland"? Thanks for the correction.
Who's to say that these best laid plans aren't going to go awry? Or be utterly derailed by other developments? Where did you get the idea that I plan to make it that easy for 'em, huh...
Yeah, Scooter normally isn't the type to holler, is he? But he's not going off at someone, just calling for attention. Anyone remember the gag in a few early M*A*S*H episodes in which Colonel Blake or Burns can't get the attention of a rowdy crowd, so Radar shouts and everyone immediately...

Part 2: Time Doesn't Hold You Back
By Kim McFarland
*****
It was early evening in the Muppet Theater. The day's chaos had produced results: costumes were sewn, acts were rehearsed, blocking was blocked. Kermit and Scooter had been largely unavailable, which was unusual...
I've been watching M*A*S*H DVDs. I find I enjoy them so much more when I choose the soundtrack without the laugh track. The humor seems much more effective if the show isn't telling me "This is the funny part! You're supposed to laugh here!"
There is one two-part episode the master of which...
Thanks, Dwayne. I was wondering why you were speaking as if the chapter was a long one. It's just oover two printed pages, which for me is about a six-minute read. But I'm a speed reader.
Glad to hear that the characters seem in voice to you. If they don't seem like themselves, then what d'you...
