Some of the LMM animated segments appeared in a late-season Muppet Babies episode. However, IIRC they were ones that had been broadcast with LMM, so if you've seen those three eps on youtube then they're nothing new.

I believe that this was taken during the panel on puppetry for TV & film, and that that's Peter Linz's arm, but I can't be sure.
That's how I do it. I just pin things into place. Usually with safety pins so I can be sure they won't slip out of place and/or stick someone (I use puppets as walkaround characters). However, it can be tricky to conceal safety pins.
